FAQ: Does Megaspin sell Japan-made Butterfly blades?

Some Butterfly blades like Korbel and Grubba are produced in factories both in Europe and in Japan, so they exist in 2 variants. When a Japanese blade has a Europe-made version, we always carry the Japanese variant. Other blades like Butterfly Timo Boll Offensive are only made in China so we cannot carry a Japanese variant of these blades.

Reviews of Butterfly Garaydia ALC (12)

Love this blade from the first touch, the grip and weight is just right for my big palm. I started playing tournament with it after the first try and managed to beat couple strong players. It helps to perform stable blocks and start looping from underpin balls. Also I like the weight mine is 82gr. Paired it with Battle2 provincial FH and GoldArc 8 on BH. The speed and control is just right. The throw angle is much lower then SZLC blades which helps on blocks and short play but same time you won't have problems doing tospins. I don't know how it works but I like it. :)

Love this blade. Using it with Tenergy 05 on FH and Joola Golden Tango PS on BH and they work really well. Very fast blade of course so not for beginners. Though, for an offensive blade it has great feel and control, one of the best out there. Absolutely love the handle as well. The trajectory feels low, so a good technique and timing is required, otherwise the ball can go ut of the table quite easily. The blade feels quite stiff and because of the 2 ALC-fibers you don't feel that much of the ball or any vibration I think. I never find it hard to create power from any distance, and if you use your body and the right movement in your strokes, you will produce some killer shots!

Recommend it to players who want to play a fast, spinny, offensive game, but seek some control in at the same time. Great blade!

Comfortable, but I don't feel anything special on this blade although no downside so far.

I tried so many paddles from Butterfly Timo boll t5000, Zhang jike zlc & the balsa carbon along with the top of the line killerspin, the insanely quick Stilo7 SVR. I consider myself an intermediate player, I play every week at a decent level. I like to smash a lot, but also loop when needed, and for that I needed the right blade with the right rubber. Most of the high rated blades were very quick, so it gave me no control. The Garaydia however is very forgiving with a large sweet spot. I added the Butterfly tenergy80 FX to the forehand & 05FX to the back hand & the result was amazing! I can loop & reverse my opponents' spins much easier now, I loop more with this though, all while enjoying the Garaydia decent weight for occasional , on point, smashes!
This blade has the perfect mix of control & speed, highly recommended!

Butterfly Garaydia ALC is an excellent blade with good dwell time and low trajectory. It is easy to loop under spin, counter top spin and play both forehand and backhand flicks, but it requires good technique to generate power far from the table. Garaydia ALC is best suited for the players who prefers to play from close and mid distance.
