it does what you expect. It neither adds height to the trajectory of the ball nor takes height away. It's not too fast and not too slow. It just seems really good on all fronts.

For example, when I tried the Viscaria, blocking loops seemed easier, and I could push nice & low, but suddenly many opening loops against underspin went into the net. Not so with the Mizutani blade.

And when I also tried the Ovtcharov blade, it made looping against underspin easier, but blocking against topspin was more difficult, and creating a quality push was more difficult I kept popping everything up. Not so with the Mizutani blade.

I tried a few Timo Boll blades and they were extremely fast, made hitting flat shots and doing loop-kills easier, but I couldn't slow loop at all. The Mizutani on the other hand is not as fast but it is fast enough to end points with this 40+ plastic ball that I hate. :)

because Mizutani zlc have more speed and medium -high throw i made a setup with inhe big dipper 38 and dhs hurricane 8 medium == unboosted both === big dipper fell more european rubber and less spin than dhs hurricane 8 but both less spin than fastarc G1 and baracuda ........ setup 189 gr ( blade with big dipper =141 gr ) only blade = 90 gr

Very fast and hard blade, but you don't feel the ball very well, it is like a dead feeling on contact. Very good quality.

Really good blade when paired with tensor rubber. Balls traiectory is very stable and quite deep on the table. It's not a spin monster but it's enough to make dangerous shoots.

If you have a looping game that focus on control and placement, this would be perfect. It work best in mid to long distance and favors the European play style. The short touch and blocking peform great as well. There is definitely some alc characteristics in it. Mind that you have to expect your opponents can easily counter your shot and thus prepare for a long rally.

Perfect with JOOLA DYNARYZ AGR (FH) + Yasaka Rakza Z (BH), very powerful explosive power, surprising destructive power, but unfortunately my basic level is not good enough, it's hard to control it, I must make up my mind to strengthen byself!

Good blade. Good with Tenerge 05FX, but you need a high level of skill. Zlc carbon does not forgive technical errors.

This is a 5 star blade that should be used by 5 star players. Excellent in every category unless used by someone who isn't. The blade is superb with any rubber. Good arc, sweet spot and honestly worth the money if you handle your equipment with care

My blade weighs 87g @ 5.7mm thick. I also have the 1st edition Mizutani ZLC and it has about the same weight and thickness also plays the same except this one is a touch slower and slightly higher throw. This is a very ideal offensive blade with excellent feel and control; yet it's fast enough to finish the point. It has a good soft feel with a lot of dwell for a carbon blade due to the elastic zylon composition Butterfly added to the carbon. As a result, you can produce an enormous amount of spin & nice arc. Feels like the blade can grab the ball momentarily then throw to wherever you aim. So your loops are super spinny and underspin flicks are easy to generate. I also own the Super ZLC version which I like very much, but at times when I am on the defense with that SZLC blade, it feels too fast to control but this blade plays & feels very similarly except it's slower, softer and more control. The speed is fast but not too fast. Little faster than the Freitas ALC but slower than the TB T5000 & MJ SZLC. It's almost perfect except I wish for a wider FL handle like the one in the ZJK blade; but that blade's top veneer is koto vs the softer limba used on the MJ.

Here is my review summary: Speed=9.2 Control=9.5; Spin=9.5; Feel=perfect; Flick=easy; Flex=6; Hardness=4.5; Balance=good; FL grip=OK but wish wider; Dwell=very good; Smash, flat hit , block, serve Drive & Loop=excellent; throw=med+; Sweetspot=huge; touch shot=good; push=good; Overall=9.6

Excellent with T80. Very good control in both loops and blocking. Seems to help everything clear the net and still stay on the table. Plenty of speed for kill shots.

Far better than the old Jun Mizutani ZLC. Feel and control is great. Not that fast for a ZLC blade but put a Tenergy 64 in it and it will be as fast as Amultart ZLC blade.
