Table Delivery Instructions

3 Most Important Things to Know
  1. Standard delivery is to the curb with a liftgate truck.
  2. The shipping company will call you for a delivery appointment, and someone needs to be present for delivery.
  3. In the unlikely occurrence of delivery damage, do not accept delivery but refuse it and ask us to send you a new one.

Shipping Method and Duration

Tables are delivered via freight companies like R&L and Yellow Freight. All tables are delivered free of charge within the contiguous US and include a free liftgate service to the curb of your delivery location. Shipping duration is displayed on the shopping cart and is typically 3-6 business days depending on table model and location. Deliveries outside the contiguous US may carry an additional cost.

Delivery Appointment

When the table reaches the terminal nearest to you, the shipping company will call you, or you will be given a phone number to set up an appointment to deliver from the terminal to your location. They deliver during weekdays and normally require a four hour shipping window for the appointment (for example 8:00am - 12:00pm or 2:00pm to 6:00pm).

Deliveries are made only Monday through Friday only. There are no deliveries on the weekend or on holidays.

If you miss your scheduled delivery time, you may be responsible for any additional charges for redelivery and/or storage fees established by the freight company. So please make sure you are at the delivery location around the time of delivery.

Cancellation

Once a table has been picked from our warehouse, there may be a charge to return the table to us if you cancel your order. We try our best to cancel at no charge to you but shipping costs both ways may apply if we have already sent the order to the truck company.

Changing Shipping Address

Additional charges may apply to change shipping destination after the table has left the warehouse.

How to Accept a Table Delivery

We include free liftgate delivery with all our full sized tables. This allows the driver to get the table off the end of the truck without any assistance.

Before signing the delivery receipt it is very important to inspect your freight!

Shipping companies do their best to ensure that your table arrives on time and without any damage. However, sometimes damage can occur in shipping. Please do not sign the driver's delivery receipt until you have inspected your freight. Signing may absolve the shipping company of any damage responsibility, making it harder to have a damage claim honored.

You have a right to look at the packaging for holes, smashed areas, and other indications of table damage. Your table is sent to you strapped onto a pallet for added protection. If the table is not strapped, please pay extra attention to damage.

If your table arrives damaged, it is very important to refuse the table and write "REFUSED/DAMAGED" on the delivery receipt so we could send you another one. Do not accept a table delivery if the package shows signs of damage.

Please make sure the driver clearly writes the problem on the delivery receipt, and please contact us within 5 days to send you another table.

If everything appears to be alright, then please sign and accept the table.

If the shipping company sent you a wrong table, please do not unpack/assemble it and let us know immediately.

For any concealed table damage found after the delivery please contact us within 5 days of delivery to ensure proper credit/part replacements. If you find your table has concealed damage please do not assemble the table. Please keep the pallet until the damage issue is resolved. If the table needs to be returned, the original pallet will be required for the table to be picked up.

What about my other items?

Other items you order with your table such as robots, rackets, rubbers, blades and other equipment are usually shipped separately and a separate tracking number is provided.

Additional Services

Our free shipping includes delivery only to the curb of your home or a loading dock. Drivers cannot help move the table from the curb into your driveway, garage or home unless this service has been quoted and paid for ahead of time.

Inside Delivery: Delivery from the curb to the first entrance (~$100)

This service is typically requested by customers who have a driveway and are unable to transport the table themselves from the curb to their garage or home. This service includes getting the table off the end of the truck and transporting it to the first enclosure such as garage, carport or front door.

Delivery to a specific room ($150+)

Placement of the table in a specific room inside your building including transporting the table up or down stairs.

White Glove Delivery - Premium add-on service for Killerspin tables only ($250-$300)

The driver is accompanied by another person and they carry the table up or down at most two flights of stairs. They also unpack the table, assemble it and remove debris. This service is available for Killerspin table orders only and can be selected on the product page before you add the table to the shopping cart.

Table Assembly Service, Stairs Delivery, Debris Removal

Most of our tables are delivered mostly assembled and can be set up with no tools in 15 minutes or less. However if you do think you will need help, we suggest seeking the help of a local assembler/mover. These services are usually found at local moving and storage companies. Independent contractors or handymen may also be available in your area. To locate this kind of help we suggest using TaskRabbit, Handy, or Yelp or Angie's List.

Requesting an additional service

If you want to order White Glove Delivery with a Killerspin table, please select this option when ordering. If you want to order any other additional service, please make your request using instructions in Step 1 of the checkout process. Please include this information:

  1. Where you want the table taken (basement, second floor, etc).
  2. The distance from the curb or loading dock to the entrance the table will pass through.
  3. How many stair steps are involved in delivering the table to its final resting spot.

Important notes about additional services

  • We may not be able to add a additional service if it has not been requested in Step 1 of the checkout process. These services may determine what shipping company we use and it may be too late to make a change once we have started processing your order.
  • Some services may not be available to some areas.
  • We strongly discourage customers to pay the driver directly for additional services. Transacting outside of your Megaspin order introduces liability issues in case of damage to your property or the table when the service is performed. The customer assumes full responsibility of any damage for services not requested through us.
