FAQ: Does Megaspin sell Japan-made Butterfly blades?
Some Butterfly blades like Korbel and Grubba are produced in factories both in Europe and in Japan, so they exist in 2 variants. When a Japanese blade has a Europe-made version, we always carry the Japanese variant. Other blades like Butterfly Timo Boll Offensive are only made in China so we cannot carry a Japanese variant of these blades.
FAQ: Do Butterfly blades come pre-sealed?
All Butterfly blades come pre-sealed from the factory. There is no need to add blade sealing but you may if you require additional protection.
Professional racket assembly is offered on several racket combinations free of charge. Please add a blade and 2 rubber sheets to the shopping cart to activate the racket assembly option on your cart. For more details see Racket Assembly FAQ.
You may also select ready-made rackets and pre-selected combos from our rackets section.

Solid equipment. I placed Tibhar MK on forehand, Tenergy 05 FX on backhand. Why MK? Just to try something new. In general my experience with hybrid rubbers is not that great with one exception - Donic Blue Star A1. Other hybrids including MK I mentioned above require a bit more work during looping in comparison with tensors like Tenergy. In one word - there is not enough catapult effect for me with hybrid rubbers. Tiago himself plays or used to play with Dignics 05 on both sides. It compensates for slowness of the blade way better than MK in my case. I regret a bit not following Tiago lead. But I will try MK for a little bit longer and will try to make it work. Tenergy 05 FX on my backhand works well but again - due to the fact that this blade is not super fast I feel that regular Tenergy 05 or even Dignics 05 which Tiago uses will be better for me : I play this game for decades and can ( to some degree of course) tame any Mustang. lol. I did play with Super fast blades like Stiga Carbonado 245 and Sardius from Butterfly. In conclusion - love the blade and will try Dignics 05 on forehand and Tenergy 05 on backhand sometimes in the future to add speed to its great control. Love to hear your comments on this. Thank you for attention to this matter. lol. Trying to sound like Trump on X. No pun intended. 😄

Excellent. Played in every single aspect. The zylon carbon fiber, offers great feel and touch as well as dwell time and spin. However, when looping hard, the blade amplifies the power to such a degree that I simply had to either ease up on my Lube, kill shots or the ball with just go off the end of the table. That was the only aspect of the blade I could not overcome and why I stopped playing with it. I have too much power as is and I don't need the assist from the blade, especially the way this blade does it. It's almost like a trampoline effect and it is for me too hard to control.

I built a paddle with the Apolonia ZLC and Dignics 05. It has helped me take my game to the next level (compared to a lighter, cheap, wood paddle) by increasing my speed and attack. After a week of adapting I went against a player I had never scored more than 2-3 points against and averaged 7 points per game, almost winning one of the nine games.
This blade seems to have a pretty good sweet spot, good weight, and lots of power. Combined with the dignics 05, I can be given backspin and rip it back just as quickly or hit topspin I could not before.
With lots of power, I also feel like this blade has some decent control and consistency- I am able to land shots very close to where I want them.
The quality looks to be top notch. Really glad I took the plunge and purchased this blade.
