I have been using Timo Ball ALC for a few years. It found TB very fast but the control is really difficult. It's hard for me to receive serves, and it is very powerful so much that I made a lot of errors in attack.
I bought this Innerforce two weeks ago with exactly the same rubber that I used before - 09C - for both FH and BH.
My BH game was immediately improved a great deal. My partner said this blade had done wonders to my BH game. It's hard to describe. I just hit BH with much more confident and higher success rate.
In a game, I can play really effectively close to the table, and my receive, push and block all improved. The feel of the racket is very close to my previous wood racket, and it's noticeably more power than Nittaku Violin. For my FH, I found that I need to open the racket just slightly compared to TB. It's a very easy transition (3-4 practices), and it's better since when you open the racket, it's less likely that you will hit the edge of the racket or miss.
Overall, althouth I only used it for a couple of weeks, my game improvement is noticeable. I wish I had switched long time ago. This racket is for those who like wood rackets, and who can't handle the speed and power of carbon rackets like TB. What's the point of using a powerful racket if you cannot even put the ball on the table. This racket will be my main racket from now on.

This is my first review ever. But once I got this blade and played a few practice sessions with it, I really wanted to share my unforgettable experience. In general: it's just a pure magic for my play style. My Innerforce Layer ALC comes 89g weight. Perfect FL handle for my pretty small hand. I use Xiom Vega Pro for FH and Donic Acuda S2 for BH. Before this purchase, I was playing Xiom Ice Cream AZX and I constantly lacked ball feel and didn't like the "glassy" feeling. So now I feel like I've found what I've been looking for: very good touch, great dwell (compared to any outer carbon blade), monster spinny slow open ups. Also you are able to make active blocking with a huge control. Overall speed on fast top spins slightly slower than Viscaria, but with better control and ball placement. The only drawback I've noticed: it takes really more effort to make "through-ball" style winner shot. Overall summary: it's not a cheap blade, but I'm confident I spent the money with 101% return and usefulness.

One of the thicker btfly woods. Due to the inner layers, it feels softer, but it is quite stiff and stable. It can be controlled very well, and it is fast enough for attacking play. A little faster than the Apolonia ZLC and softer. Highly recommended for varied attacking play. Harder covers work well on it. One of the best woods I've ever played with. My backhand cover is dignics 09c.
This is a masterpiece from Butterfly, a real beast at the table! It was a complete refreshment after my Korbel SK7.
Speed; This blade has a really good speed and power in it both close and away from the table. Some people were complaining about being slow or not quick enough away from the table. This is definitely not true or they were playing with a slower rubber. Smashes, flat hits and all kind of strokes requiring good speed all are possible with this blade. Powerful hits really activate the carbon layers, providing an extra boost to your ball.
Spin; Due the flexibility of this blade it offers you a good dwell time to impart spin on the ball.
Control; It really has the bigger sweet spot the ALC offers you making it a more than controlled blade. It has a good margin for error and great stability. It maintains that woody feel which helps and boosts your confidence in using both offensive and defensive strokes.
Feel; It has little vibration and great feel. I personally like a little vibration in my blade, this one just edges out the right balance between the great feedback and complete mute feel. It possesses a great and pleasant soft feel because of the limba outer layer.
To sum it up, I don't think I will ever try another blade in the next few years, this blade is just really well balanced in every aspects. If you want great speed with great control and high spin potential, you go for this blade. On a side note, I recommend you having a medium hard or hard rubbers to have all the energy and potential the blade gives you. Too soft rubbers might give different results than previously explained.

Just got this blade and tested it for 2 hours (My previous blade was 1st ver Mizutani ZLC). First impression is that this blade is very slow and it feels very 'trapped' and its not letting go for some reason, however the control and forgiveness is exceptional, after an hour or so, trying to throw more power into each shots, this blade suddenly taps into this power and unlocks itself like turning Super Saiyan. It will shoot lazer if you hit hard enough with the correct timing. If you compare this to a car, its like Turbo lag and when the Turbo comes in, it shoots off or like Vtec kicked in when certain RPM is achieved (the ALC carbon kicks in), which is actually a very nice feeling and will make you a player that can do sudden explosive shots when needed while also defend as much as possible when necessary. This is not a super fast blade, but fast enough with the right strokes and rubber, but with its amazing control.. The trade off isnt so bad. It gives you massive confidence to do what you want to do. It isnt like an open buffet free for grab for its power like the ZLC, but a 3 course balanced meal that you tab into as it goes.
best blade for amateur who wants something more soulful than Korbel and wants to try artificial fiber. Specific but with good rotation

The blade speaks for itself give it a try. Nice speed and control with Tenergy 05-FX.
I played with Viscaria before and in my opinion IFL ALC is owerall better blade. It has lots of control with practically the same speed.
I have this as my primary setup paired with T05 on FH and T80 on BH. This is an amazing bat, excellent feeling and touch, good dwell time and fast enough on harder stokes. I can only recommend it, worths the price, no doubts.

It didn't take long time to get use to this blade and I really appreciate the control. I recommend this blade for allround~spinner offensive style.

Amazing bat, has a woody feeling, and explosive power when swung hard, the handle is a little thicker than my timo boll alc and petr korbel blade, took a little while to get used to
Compare it with my Viscaria. Use with T05(2.1) both side.
Pros:
1. Looping is amazing and much better than Viscaria, the attacking is super forgiving. Very high throw angle, which I like.
2. forehand is much better than Viscaria. FH and BH are very balanced. Viscaria IMO is not balanced, it's BH is much better than its FH.
Cons: passive blocking control is not as good as Viscaria especially with T05, which force me to attack actively. It's not suitable for defensive play style IMO.

I like the blade a lot, it's a pure OFF blade, pretty bouncy / springy (which has pros and cons), has some flex, and it's not on the soft side but neither hard I would say.
Id give it 10 for offensive control and 8 for defensive control.
My 84 grams Layer ALC cant hold 2 Tenergy non fx rubbers for me so you need fx versions or other brands - i find it too head heavy.
For me, choosing a blade is less important than finding the right setup meaning blade + rubbers. If you want to play with t05 I think there are better blades for it.
It's great for looping, but you have to master blocking (it can block even the spinniest topspins but it's hard to keep the ball low and dangerous for the opponent). It very much depends on rubbers, It's advised to be used with t80 / t80fx but i use t05fx and acuda blue p2. I tried t80 and it's superb in consistency in every shot but makes it head heavy, t05fx however does lovely loops but it's hard (and also intriguing) to master pushing and blocking - just try to attack first and a good first loop will get you the point fast.
Acuda blue p2 its the perfect rubber for backhand, for a safe backhand at least not for one that loops every ball..
On forehand I didnt find a good rubber to balance the low weight of Acuda (42-43g) that really works on the blade - most were too heavy. If you get the blade, I advise you to start with t80 on fh and acuda p2 on backhand.

It a good blade, but a bit too soft and slow. There is another innerforce kind of blade that is faster and better like the liu shiwen zlf blade.
Also it is shame for butterfly but DHS now have this type of blade only better and cost one quarter of the price of this in the DHS301

If you love the feel, dwell, and control of a limba/ayous wood blade but also appreciate the increased stability and sweet spot of ALC then this is the blade for you. The cool thing that Butterfly did with the Innerforce layer blade is they placed the ALC layers deeper near the core of the blade. That results in more sensation and feel from the 2 layers of limba contacting the ball with increased stability and accuracy for blocking and hitting as well as power away from the table. Comparing it directly to an all wood blade its short game is great and controlled but when you swing hard that's when the ALC kicks in providing an extra boost. Slightly slower than a Viscaria or Timo Boll ALC but with better control, feel, and sensation. The only thing I don't like about it is that it has a thinner handle. I actually had a friend customize it with a big meaty Tibhar Force Pro black handle and now it's perfect. Great blade.
Great control and sufficient speed, This blade and barwell fleet are two that I will keep for sure. You can do all kinds of things with it. It has better speed and control than Viscaria. Also the handle feels better (rounder and slightly smaller) than Viscaria.
First custom blade. If you love looping with speed and control go with this one. Xiom vega pro on both sides.
Great blade for allround play. It's great with inverted rubbers with medium hard sponge, you could play short and soft or could make fast and powerfull top-spins and flat shots, I think it's because of ALC layer is under 2 layers of not hard wood, so you could play softly whithout using ALC layer or easily with slightly more powerful stroke get use of carbon layer and mare a powerfur shot... I even played with long pipms on this blade quite successfully, but with short pimps this blade is just great! Now I'm trying to become full inverted rubber guy and again this blade works great for me!! Thinking of trying Butterfly Apolonia ZLC blade, but it's more for fun actually, because I can't find any faults in Innerforce Layer ALC blade for me! Actually I liked Layer ALC so much, that I have two exemplars of it, one is main, second for experiments with rubbers (sometimes they change places if experiment is successful)!
Given so many good reviews, i m not gonna over praise on it. Just to mention one thing for this classic blade, that if u try to passively block the top spin, balls r more likely return down to net. Besides, its one of the best blades to keep.

Like no other composite blade! If you find TBS/VIS/other ALC blades lack the feel of balls Innerforce is an answer!

I tried blade with tenergy 05 64, rasant ... and it is good in speed, control, close to the table as well as away from the table ... if you compare it with Timo Bol ALC, a bit slower with a bit more spin and a little more sense .. .

Easy to play and lots of control .Good speed and Very good in looping and smashing. I found the best combo for this blade are T05 FH and T64 BH. Perfect combo! For me..Try it..
