FAQ: Does Megaspin sell Japan-made Butterfly blades?

Some Butterfly blades like Korbel and Grubba are produced in factories both in Europe and in Japan, so they exist in 2 variants. When a Japanese blade has a Europe-made version, we always carry the Japanese variant. Other blades like Butterfly Timo Boll Offensive are only made in China so we cannot carry a Japanese variant of these blades.

FAQ: Do Butterfly blades come pre-sealed?

All Butterfly blades come pre-sealed from the factory. There is no need to add blade sealing but you may if you require additional protection.

Reviews of Butterfly Hadraw 5 - Chinese Penhold (13)

Beautifully crafted, very direct, and pretty firm and controlled blade. Not overly powerful, but depending on your rubber selection this could create a OFF- to very solid OFF setup. All the rubbers I've put on it so far have worked well (Rasanter R42, Xiom Vega X, Tenergy 19, Tenergy 05, and Glayzer 09c), with the medium to medium hard rubbers being my favorites. So from that standpoint, I think you can put whatever you like on it as the blade isn't too picky or finicky with different types of rubbers and you can adjust the blade to your liking with what you put on it. The blade is pretty firm so for me the R42 was too soft and bottomed out too much and the Glayzer 09c was too hard and didn't have enough feel. I'm currently playing it with Tenergy 19 on the BH, and Tenergy 05 on the FH. It is the fastest of the 5-ply blades that I own, with the Nittaku S-5 ALL+, Nittaku Acoustic OFF- being markedly slower. My only gripe would be the handle, while a very good size, has a flare that is a little too pronounced. Altogether though, a very nice, controllable offensive blade.

Excellent blade, with the characteristic of being very balanced in all aspects of the game. adequate speed and control and enhancement of the spin game, clearly showing that blades all wood, can be as or more effective than composites.
Very grateful to Megaspin for the always excellent service, 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻.

This blade is just amazing. I tested it today with the rubbers Dignigs on backhand and Tenergy 05 hard on the forehand. It's just incredible.

Bastante controle com D09c e Rozena, mas faltava um pouco de potncia pra finalizar os pontos.
