FAQ: Does Megaspin sell Japan-made Butterfly blades?
Some Butterfly blades like Korbel and Grubba are produced in factories both in Europe and in Japan, so they exist in 2 variants. When a Japanese blade has a Europe-made version, we always carry the Japanese variant. Other blades like Butterfly Timo Boll Offensive are only made in China so we cannot carry a Japanese variant of these blades.
FAQ: Do Butterfly blades come pre-sealed?
All Butterfly blades come pre-sealed from the factory. There is no need to add blade sealing but you may if you require additional protection.
Professional racket assembly is offered on several racket combinations free of charge. Please add a blade and 2 rubber sheets to the shopping cart to activate the racket assembly option on your cart. For more details see Racket Assembly FAQ.
You may also select ready-made rackets and pre-selected combos from our rackets section.

Got one weighted 87 grams. Flared handle. Handle looks identical to Viscaria's but feel smoother and easier to switch between backhand and forehand. I have small hands but it fits. Glued two sheets of Glayzer 09C max on it. Very balanced. Before this blade I used Innerforce Layer ALC which provided good ball feeling. To my surprise this one gives me even better and more direct feeling. Now the IFL ALC seems to relay the feeling a little slow. It is faster than IFL ALC even with G09C. It is easy to surprise my club mate with crazy fast and spinny loops. Smashing is a joy. Pushing is easy. It is like an extension of my hand. This blade is much easier to use than I expected. If you have decent skill you can handle it. It can help you get better.
Update: Got a chance to practice with a chopper. It was a blast. I could fast loop like never before. Due to direct and immediate feeling and low catapult of the rubber, I could adjust the blade instantly during the contact.
Update2: This blade plays like InnerForce ALC despite its outer carbon structure. It gives me more accurate feedback then my IF ALC so aggressive attacks are easy to execute with Galyzer 09C. Smashing is ridiculously easy. Just pay attention to the feedback.

92g. Perfect for me. It goes well with a low-arc hard rubber, as the wood makes the ball go a bit higher compared to other ALCs on the butterfly. The T05 Hard is the perfect choice for the forehand., but only for professionals or chinese techniques. I didn't like the regular T05 for the forehand, due to its high arch, but it was good on the backhand. I tried the D09C on the forehand and I couldn't hit serves with heavy spin and topspin, and I didn't like the high arch. Maybe I need to improve my technique. Right now I'm using it with 2 Glayzer 09Cs, but it's too early to say anything. I'll be back soon.
