Butterfly rubbers have been dominating the market for competition-grade rubber sheets for many years. They have consistently been the preferred rubber sheets for professionals. Over half the rubber sheets used in the most recent editions of the World Championships are Butterfly rubber sheets.
Butterfly's Tenergy series was the the most popular rubber series on the market in the 2010s with Tenergy 05 being the most popular sheet. The Dignics series is proving to be a more popular rubber series.

Tenergy 05 Hard (released in 2018) is a new version of Tenergy 05 with a harder sponge.
