Tenergy 19, the newest rubber in the Tenergy line, takes Tenergy performance in a new direction. Tenergy 19, with a newly developed top sheet, manages to generate more speed and spin than the flagship Tenergy 05.

Combined with Spring Sponge, this rubber sheet also has more dwell time, especially with strong and precise attacks. However, Tenergy 19 rubber performs well on passive shots, too, like blocking strong attacks from your opponent.

For those that want the best of both worlds, Tenergy 19 can do it all.

Reviews of Butterfly Tenergy 19 (26)

My ratings are for the China Team version on outer ALC blades where this rubber truly shines.
It would be a bit lower for inner alc blades though it's still very good on fast inner blades such as Ovtcharov ALC.

On outer ALC blades, this rubber offers perfect control for drives and blocks, as well as spin capabilities similar to Dignics series. It has surprisingly good dwell time when needed. Blocks, counters, counterloops are almost as easy as with Dignics 09c provided you don't go beyond 5 meters away from the table.
But it's really easyier to play and activate the power than for D09C or D05.
It puts more balls on the table for me than D80 and D64.
Control is absolute.
Serves are surprisingly good, I scored as much as with D09C or Zyre 03 and better than with D05 even without training on this rubber, though its spin capabilities on rallies are indeed inferior to D09C and Zyre 03 (these rubbers are deadly at high speed on that point).

It's a rubber I would recommend to anyone, both FH and BH provided you play it on a carbon blade that you master. T05 might be better on slow inner carbon dwelly blades (such as Innerforce ALC) or all wood blades, but T19 fully benefits from outer carbon (I love it on Viscaria Gold, Timo Boll's personal blade and FZD personal blade).

The best backhand Rubber for Offensive blades. Especially the ones with Carbon. For slower all wood blades Ten05 plays better in my opinion. Overall it plays like more tamed and spin oriented Tenergy 05, grabs the ball more and you can feel little more dwell in counter topspin. You can feel the topsheet grabbing the ball. You have to put tad more force to activate the sponge for it to work the same way as T05, which is a good thing in my opinion. Can work on forehand too.

Almost a year I played with Evolution MX-D at the backhand. Blade was Nittaku Acoustic Inner Carbon. I needed a little more control and give a chance to the T19. What a disappoitment! What a frustration! Very high catapult very soft rubber. I think combination of foftness and high catapult effect causes the inconsistency. Probably blade contribute this kind of consistency. With this combination throw angle was high but I could not place the ball to the deep of table. Most of the time ball goes the near of the net with high throw. It was interesting and was not for me. But for the powerful hits and contras this rubber would be okey. But passive game; blok, chop, soft spin and placement is best. Even not okey.

Just as spinny and fast as tenergy 05. But the arc is lower, so you do have to have solid skills for low arc drive loop.

I have been using this (B, 2.1) for my FH for about a year or more now. I am loving it so far. It is Tenergy 05 but a little bit more spin. I like the spin and feel of it. I would recommend this high quality rubber!
