Stiga Cybershape – a completely new type of blade with a unique shape and larger hitting area! Cybershape is a table tennis blade that is unlike anything you’ve ever seen before.

Studies have shown that, for the majority of players, the optimal hitting area lies on the top half of the blade. That’s why Stiga optimized the hitting area to be 11% larger for the shakehand grip and 9% larger for the penhold grip compared to a traditional blade. One of the special features of Cybershape is that, during returns, the hitting area is as much as 6.5cm closer to the table compared with 2.5cm for a round blade.

The top half of the paddle is precisely where Cybershape excels. The larger hitting area provides an improved sweet spot, thus making it easier for the player to control their short serves and returns, for example.

As the hitting area on the top part has been expanded, the bottom part has been reduced by 2% in order to not make the blade too heavy and cause an imbalance.

Cybershape’s unique shape also makes it easier for the player to see the hitting area when serving. Thanks to its different angles, the player has six corners to choose from, depending on the type and amount of spin they want.

An offensive table tennis blade with a revolutionary, patent pending and design-protected shape that provides an optimized hitting area.

Stiga Cybershape Carbon is approved for all types of competition.

CCF technology with a carbon fiber layer on the wood core for a softer touch and greater control.

The shape allows the player to easily angle the paddle as desired and get just the right amount of spin when serving.

According to measurements from tests carried out in collaboration with KTH, Cybershape has a more linear frequency response than a traditional blade, which creates a completely new feel during play.

Reflective lens on handle that alternates between purple and blue, depending on the angle.

Reviews of Stiga Cybershape Carbon - Chinese Penhold (14)

Probably the worst blade I have played with as an intermediate developing player. No feeling, no consistency, control is poor, dump too many balls into the net compared to other blades

My main paddle that I have used for a while and enough speed but unfortunately not enough control or spin for someone my level and I'll probably be moving on to other setups. Stiff and not much dwell and I make too many mistakes. It would suit more advanced players well, but unfortunately not for me yet.

The perfect FL handle for me. No need adjustment coming from regular rounded bats. A little bit woody feel. Very large sweetspot and nice dwell time. Speed is comparable to butterfly kotto-alc blades. I'm using D09c both sides. My fh loops, topspins and smashes improved al ot because of this blade.

Large sweet spot. Excellent in speed with good control. One of the best blades for offensive players.

Coming to this blade after Primorac Carbon, so the review in that perception.
At the beginning I didnt like the feeling of the blade, it has some hollow feeling in comparison with Primorac Carbon which is very stiff. But I forced myself to play with it a while and I figured out that Cybershape gives me a lot more flexibility and much better control. You can even chop with it (this tells you how much control it has), when with Primorac Carbon you cannot even think about to chop something.
Another thing is the speed... The speed is not linear - it significally slower that Primorac Carbon, but with Cybershape you have havier head so you can smash really good and also if catch the ball at the right point your spin will be very effective.
