More JOOLA innovations in TENSOR technique - the long pimples rubber. Following on the success of TANGO rubbers, JOOLA intensified the research into developing a long pimple using the same technique without losing control. The TENSOR sponge considerably accelerates the rubber. For allround and effective play.

Looking at this rubber's stats, it just goes to show you how skewed and inaccurate the rating system here is on ttdb! Somehow this long pip is listed as the spinniest long pips, yet also rated as an 8.9 for reversal!? Two mutually exclusive attributes both being listed as high... hmm! Anyway, these pips are not very grippy at all. They are quite similar to d.techs in nature. Relatively good reversal, pretty speedy but with good control. You cannot generate much of your own spin with these, so chopping is reliant on reversal or sending back low-spin or dead ball returns. Badman works great for push-blocking and staying near the table. Due to the lack of grip and inability to really impart much spin, I can't say it's the best for long distance chopping. Perhaps chop blocking and blocking close to the table, though. Very high quality product with an easy to apply glue-sheet already attached. I do think it's overpriced as far as pips go. Nearly as much as a sheet of tenergy! I haven't found anything better for a close to the table blocking/push blocking game of control. It's not the deadliest, but it is consistent and fairly easy to use. Chops go back with low arcs and quite a bit of speed in OX. I found that doing fast chops in difficult angles proved effective, in comparison to the slow floaty sort that give opponents time to move. Badman has a change of pace that makes it rough to adjust to.
The joola octopus has tons more grip/spin and would work much better as a chopping rubber from the table for reference. Not even a comparison between the two!
I enjoy playing with these long pips. The control is great, so you can place the ball where ever you want. I played a lot of long pips over the years, but none of them has such great control as JOOLA Badman! It still is dangerous though. You can generate a lot of spin with it. Mastering Badman is easy, but it's not easy for your opponent to play against it. Very, very nice!
Nice playing on the elastic blades. On the stiff you may have problems with control.
After trying again DTecs, GD Meteorite, GD Cropcirlces, JapTec DL01, TSP P4, Dawei C1 I got back to Badman and not gona try any diferent :). Really god controll and reversal. Easy also to hit.
This without the sponge is one of the best I have ever used. Any chop shot and side spin is excellent with practice. Good for blocking too.
Chopping is very easy with this rubber and it doesn't have a high arc so it's hard to return fast chops. For chopping it doesn't really matter if you're close to the table or far both are quite easy. Hitting a fast ball with this rubber is very inconsistent in my mind. I play the 1.3 mm version.
I use my LP (in OX) to chop, chop-block, attack, push and even (occasionally) loop. This one does all those things well. I don't find it to be a liability in any area. It's great against no-spin (a problem for some LPs), and it's great for attacking, which I do all the time with my LP.
Very good quality, maybe a little expensive, but worth it. Pips are quiet soft and flexible so very good for chopping away from table. Also good for blocking close and even normal topspin backhand can be played with some minor adjustments. I have a pure Joola setup. Blade is Chen Weixing and forehand Joola Drum. This is one of the best all-round weapon I have ever tried. D.Tecs is pro bely a little more funky, but not as easy to hit wtih like Badman.
I tried many long pip rubbers. This is is THE BEST, at least for me. I can do anything with it. Hit, Loop, Chop, Smash, Block. Other can do all this also, but I was doing with this one with such a ease and control. You should try it. You will not go back. I play with 1.3mm version
i have bad man as a back up to my andro crypto.i think this pips rubber will one day replace my first choice, andro.badman is faster than normal long pips and seams easy to play with, and the pips are more stable giving the abillty to attack.good allround rubber, once you start to play with,do not play with other long pips.
