Yasaka rubbers are steeped in history dating back all the way to 1926. The flagship rubber for Yasaka has been the Mark V. Mark V burst onto the table tennis world stage in the 1970 and 1971 World Championships taking home victory in both competitions. The Mark V is still going strong today and other versions of the rubber have been produced through the following decades.

More recently Yasaka has developed Rakza rubbers which have taken innovation to another level. The shape of the pimples provides a strong balance between spin and speed. Rakza rubbers use Hybrid Energy to provide synergy between top sheet and sponge providing great elasticity for power and control.

Yasaka has many more rubbers in their product line as well. Yasaka rubbers are used by top professionals as well as players of all levels. Be like 2019 World Championship Silver Medalist Matias Falck and choose Yasaka rubbers.

I hate this rubber,it said "made in japan",but it plays like ESN rubber,it is not japanese style,it is actual Germany rubber. It is not modern Mark v,there is no connection bewteen these two rubbers.

Decent Japanese rubber, great for BH also good for FH, ball clicks into the rubber well upon contact, also able to produce a lot of spin, in my opinion, it is one of the best choices for reverse penhold backhand

Realy nice rubber. A lot like Dignics 05 but with a little bit less spin and a little bit moore speed. Both are relatively hard and at the same time light. Valmo the lightest.

I am using this as my BH rubber although it was planned as my FH rubber after reading reviews here, but when i used it on my Yasaka Zebarate, it was a bit slower than my Rakza 7 Soft, spin is almost the same and with a lower throw angle, it is very easy to block and control the ball, I think this has some similarity to the old Mark V with new technology added, i.e. faster and spinnier top sheet, with a medium hard tensioned sponge. It is by no means the fastest rubber made by Yasaka, that title belongs to the Rakza 9. if you are a fan of the old Mark V, i suggest you give this a try.. not recommended for advanced users on FH. it could be a very good intermediate level rubber too

So when i first got this rubber i was a flat hitter, and this rubber, although very fast when flat hitting,it is better for looping. It produces a bit more spin then the TSP super ventus, as well as the hexer grip. I believe the most prominent feature of this rubber is its feeling; it feel almost a soft as the rakza 7 soft, but unlike the R7S it never bottoms out, even when you blast the ball as hard as you can it will barely get down to the blade, and nobody ever needs to hit it that hard in a game. And unlike a lot of rubbers i have used (hexer grip, super ventus, rakza 7, rakza 9 among others) this rubber doesn't "bite" the ball, instead i'd say the ball sinks into it before being propelled out with lots of feeling and control. i personally use it on my forhand on 3 different blades currently (1. Tibhar stratus power wood OFF- 2. andro kanter explorer OFF 3. premade donic waldner 900 blade ALL/ALL+), i don't like it on my BH because of the propelling feeling as i prefer the "biting" feeling on my BH.

- Over all I personally think this is far superior to the rakza series when it comes to a looping play style, generating slightly more spin and and a tiny bit more speed then the rakza 9 with a unique feel, and the durability is great being primarily made out of a very flexible rubbery natural gum. 9.5/10

This rubber should not be the fastest out there, combined with dhs hurricane long 5 at maximum thickness it feels noticeably slower than Aurus Prime on my FH. Other rubbers like T05, MXP, bluestorm Z1 are also faster. Control is great for serve receive and topspin blocks. Backspin lift is very nice. Its high arc provide high margin to clear the net. Great choice for BH but a bit too slow for aggressive FB play.

Valmo is the newest pips-in rubber of Yasaka, it is made in Japan and they used the Japanese approach on building hybrid rubbers (built for the modern day tournament plastic balls) and the finished product is unbelievably great. Perfect for backhand in my opinion. I use this on Yasaka Max Carbon 3D blade and it is a killer. Spins and loops are easy to do and the speed that you can generate (with proper technique) is unmatched. Control is adequate so it is great for blocking and flicks. This rubber is good on close-to-table plays and performs well in mid-range and away-from-table game. The only downside, the logo and rubber code is not in the middle so it is a bit awkward to look at (it is a manufacturing issue according to TT11) but if you can live with that, this rubber can take your skill to a different level. Highly recommended for backhand oriented players.

I bought recently these rubbers after taking a lot of time to find reviews over the internet plus a video that helped me a lot to see how these rubbers reacts to real conditions. After playing for almost 2 hours I must say these rubbers do the job more than I could imagine.

High speed rubbers (tested first on forehand), giving me good speed and a nice spin as well.
Tested on the backhand and results were very good. (Use & control very good)
Speed is amazing either on forehand or backhand (personally I put them on my backhand)
Good control of the ball from close-mid & far distance from the table.

The only con that i found is that in case you use it on the backhand in slower speed balls is taking a little higher angle than usual and this is a minus.

In case that you play a little faster (fast & aggressive players) the opponent will be difficult to send you the ball as he/she wants.

In general, didnt took me at all time to get them used and these was a plus. I must mention that the last 2 years all my rubbers was from Yasaka and that why.

The fatest Rubber in yasakas range, recommended for fast agressive offensive style players, and can generate a decent amount of spin as well as a tremendous amount of speed. Highly reccommended, faster than all tenergy rubbers, but slightly less control, as it will be hard to control with the amount of speed this produces. Highly reccommended for high advanced to semi pros.
