When Yasaka developed RIGAN rubber, the GOAL was to combine the advantages of “classical” rubbers and “modern technology” rubbers. With RIGAN Spin you get a perfect ball control and a dynamic speed characteristics, resulting in a rubber that is very easy to handle. RIGAN Spin has high Spin and durability offering a great value for the money.

Speed: 89
Spin: 95
Control: 91

Yasaka rubbers are steeped in history dating back all the way to 1926. The flagship rubber for Yasaka has been the Mark V. Mark V burst onto the table tennis world stage in the 1970 and 1971 World Championships taking home victory in both competitions. The Mark V is still going strong today and other versions of the rubber have been produced through the following decades.

More recently Yasaka has developed Rakza rubbers which have taken innovation to another level. The shape of the pimples provides a strong balance between spin and speed. Rakza rubbers use Hybrid Energy to provide synergy between top sheet and sponge providing great elasticity for power and control.

Yasaka has many more rubbers in their product line as well. Yasaka rubbers are used by top professionals as well as players of all levels. Be like 2019 World Championship Silver Medalist Matias Falck and choose Yasaka rubbers.

Reviews of Yasaka Rigan Spin (9)

Mark V with more speed and spin. Very balanced rubber. Good for looping. 10% more spin than Rigan standard but 10% less speed.

Certainly do not trust at least four reviews given here. Considered purchasing this rubber, however the consensus of another website is speed equals 8 and spin equals 8.

Good rubber for the price!!
Suitable for players who know how to control spin, not for beginners or first timers!
Quite bouncy ,using 1.8 sponge thickness because higher sponge like 2.3 or max are too fast) around 40-45 degrees hardness, in my opinion It is quite sensitive to incoming spin.... so as i said already not for beginner, can suit well an amateur player that plays for couple of years even if he never trained with a coach just like me🤩 i am using it on a yasaka sweden extra and i love it!!! Blocks very good! Spins like nothing i Played with before!! Mostly i was looking for high spin and control and it has it all!!! I think its better yo use it on fourhand and the older version rigan not rigan spin on backhand just because its softer and will give you more feeling and control.

Wow. I did not see this coming! I mean Rigan was very good, actually better than Mark V HPS. This is way, way better in all aspects! 25% of our traininggroup plays with this now! You can do everything with it. And the spin! Say no more.
