Have the 1.7 Thickness on my Xiom Vega Euro Blade. Great Combo. The fast Blade completes the great Spin and Control of the rubber. Next time I would put 2.0 on it.
The noise is defently typically Ando!! A shrill clacking! Opponents are immedatly feared if they hear it .)
I use for backhand for the nice ball placement and spin.
To me the biggest + is: Blocking. The ball comes out of the rubber so fast and so well placed that even offensive players can turn into defensive machines.
Great product!

very light, low launch angle, the best rubber in the block, very direct, medium speed, enough control, high spin, easy topspin, recommended only for bh, nice sound, you can drive and open on the table, excellent product

My experience with various types of rubbers is admittedly limited, but I absolutely hate this rubber. I was using the Palio CJ8000 before this (an inexpensive rubber) on my Butterfly Timo Boll Spirit, and much prefer it over this. I've been using the Rasant Beat now for about a week and can't wait to take it off.

Let me preface this review by saying I'm an newer player of the sport. I've been involved at my local club for a few months. I switched to an Andro CS7 Tour Off with beat on the FH and Grip on my BH from a Dawei wave stone with cool omega v. I switched because I could not control the ball with the former set up. With my current all Andro set up, I've learned better mechanics and feel, and can honestly say it's boosted my confidence on the court. I think table tennis daily said it best that this is for intermediate players looking to improve their game, not advanced players that want something super aggressive

Bought this rubber as an experiment to see if I could gain the control I had been lacking in my back hand. I went from Tenergy 05fx on my bh to Andro Rasant Beat. I have this on a Tibhar Stratus Power Wood OFF blade.

Things I love:

-This rubber does very well blocking.. Not only does it do well blocking but I find redirecting loops or smashes to be a breeze.

-The control is amazing, doesn't matter where you want to put the ball on the table, if your form is even remotely correct and you follow through, the ball goes where you want it.

-Topspin to Topspin counters are a dream.

-Produces adequate topspin, and is a very forgiving rubber.

Things I hate:

-I can't loop moderate back spin close to the table. For me personally being able to banana flick on certain serves is essential to my game play, not being able to do this even 50% of the time is infuriating. I will note, the further back I played the better success rate I could loop the ball with moderate to heavy spin.

-Throw angle is too low. I knew it was going to be low, but I didn't think it would be that low. I've used Xiom Omega 2 Asian before and though that had a low throw angle, but it's not as low as this sheet of Rasant Beat.

Overall Thoughts:

-This is a great rubber for someone new to the sport and is looking to refine their strokes. This rubber will work on FH as well as BH, but I feel its best suited on the backhand. The soft sponge allows for a greater dwell time allowing you to feel where the ball is on your bat, and increases the amount of control you have on your shots. This is a VERY forgiving rubber and I will be putting this on my son's set up when he is old enough to begin training properly.

-Looping a heavy back spin ball is very difficult but not impossible, you have to make sure your follow through is more vertical in order to loop the ball over the net due to the low throw angle.

Coming from P7, I find the control part to be somewhat on par with it. But the spin is lesser and the throw angle is also less. But I have tried it only for 2 hrs. Will update soon.

This rubber loses a lot of points on new celluloid Butterfly balls. If you are playing against Butterfly equipment hope the other player is relentlessly power stroking and the ball is Chinese or German... Horrible rubber against butterfly spin art...Lost completely to slow moving tenergy balls... fast moving tenergy balls are fun but this rubber loses if you try to shift gears... your best chance is to hit the ball back at the same speed you received it... It is a total bottom feeder... do not play butterfly equipment....

i was using a andro csv blade with this and it did not turn out so well, the sound of ball hitting it was nice but i was not able to place the ball where i wanted it. it does not spin much, and it like to hit straight not loop.

This rubber has very good control. I've got the max red on my BH. I can place the ball exactly where I want. Short flips are good and controlled too. Speed is not super fast but is ok for medium distance looping. Where this falls flat is the throw angle. It is very flat. I feel I have to really work to get the arc trajectory. If I push I have to aim a little higher over the net or else it will dump straight into the net. If you're looking for good control and consistency this is a good rubber. If you need higher throw angle I'd pass this by.

From Andro website:

My review: It is glued on the BH side of my Stiga Allrond Wood NCT. I must confess it has proved to be a wise decision. Well, it has the greatest control I have ever experienced. Unbelievable. To be continued...
Update 1: Incredible control. I am fond of it. It makes me topspin anything. It is quite similar to Blufire JP3 which is also a premium rubber but RB is a bit softer and slower. Great spin. Perfect rubber for your BH unless you need off+++ speed though on a speedy blade it may have it all. Anyway I returned to my standard Stiga Allroud Wood WRB which is a spin-machine and NCT is a bit stiff for me.
Update 2: After two-month practise.
It is a bit louder than other rubbers but nothing special sound can be heard. Am I deaf? I must underline that it can be true for my blade, Stiga Allround Wood WRB and Appelgren Allplay. Sound produced may also depend on the blade, I guess.
To tell you the truth, I was expecting deafening rhythms but in vain.
Anyway, it is a great BH rubber.
