Reviews of Andro Hexer HD (21)
Suited for all out attacking. The Spin curve is really beautiful and easy to do so.
Tested T05 and Andro HEXER HD and I must say there is not much difference. Both are equally grippy and can Spin tremendously. But one thing that the HD is a clear winner here is its Dwell Time.
best rubber ever, the reason why i'm playing table tennis, i've been trying all the big names in the worldwide tt market before, butterfly t05 donic stiga mantras zhendongs xu xins blah blah blah and this andro hexer hd rubber is the one making the touchdown in any possible way you see spin power as your wish, more control than the one sir winston churchill needed when the ww2 was on its worst, and the speed enough is there when you need to get rough
go try it yow won't be sorry, oh and i forgot tpo mention it: no butterfly t05 t65t25t80 tenergy what so ever emptying your pockets, so go for it you'll see what i mean here
Top quality rubber. Playing on FH on Gewoo speedster off+ blade and they work very weel together. Also seen this playing v well on FH on Primorac Off- for highly ranked club mate. Service spin is high and receives with great control. Lifts easily vs bsp. Loops are penetrating and spinny...side spin loops also v easy. Hitting crisp and with power. Great rubber!
Have been playing with hexer hd on the forehand side of a donic waldner ultra carbon blade for about a year. Hexer hd plays well on this blade for dedicated loopers. It is fast and can add a great amount of spin on serves and loops with the right technique. It is not very insensible to incoming spin so receives and blocks require some attention. Due to high throw of both rubber and blade smashes are difficult and need to be directed with a closed racket. It is very durable but a bit heavy. In conclusion, hexer hd is a rubber with good control to mound attacks based on ball placement and speedy loops full of rotation.
I am using Andro Super Core Cell Carbon OFF blade with Hexer HD 2.1 mm on forehand and 1.9 mm on backhand. I am playing competition and Andro blade and rubbers have helped me to win lots of games. However I find Hexer HD rubber is quite fast on an offensive blade and as a beginner I should not use Hexer HD while I am still learning and developing my techniques. So I recently replaced Hexer HD with Yasaka Mark V 1.8 mm on my forehand. I've got to tell you it is my CORRECT decision to change this since I could now make very good looping and very control smashing with Mark V on my OFF blade. Hexer HD is too fast to make looping on my OFF blade. I will keep Hexer HD 1.9 mm on my backhand for now and when it's torn out, I will replace it with Butterfly Sriver EL 1.9 mm on my backhand. I still love Hexer HD but it's too fast for my level and since I am still learning my techniques I would rather use the old school Mark V and Sriver EL rubbers on my Andro OFF carbon blade.
top spin at its finest!
color appearance is lighter red.
its sponge is like porous and medium indicating its top notch quality.
tested this with tb zlc blade for forehand. Compare to some european brand rubber who easily attract moisture. must try tensor rubber.
Very fast. Control and spin is good. Has difrend sheet color than another rubbers (red). Rubber is heavy. This rubber + fast blade =extreme speed.
i swap my yasaka xtra soft for this...very great and very nice to use...but it is to strong because of the tensor system...but overall this is very very great!! |:D
This is a really fast rubber, and it's incredibly bouncy. It can make it a bit hard to control at times. Loops aren't that spin, but smashes and flatter hits go really fast. Overall a really advanced rubber. Don't use it if you're not that ready for it.
i am use TMB ALC with combo FH Andor HD 2.1mm and BH xiom 4 pro 2mm...
i like hexer HD good rubber and great combo...rubber amazing.
The rubber is similar to the Rakza7 rubber. But I feel there is more control to it than Rakza7. A must try for those who dont want to pay too much for the T05.
Really new tech rubber. the cake sponge provide more dwell time and spin. This rubber matches the carbon blade well.
the best combination for speed, spin, accuracy, linearity and probably durability.
its the sate of the art rubber as of today oct 2011. i have played no less than 60 rubbers chinese / european / japanese altogether. i liked tenergy 05, except for few issues. i found t05 slow in fast strokes... and too bouncy in slow strokes. Hexer HD cures that... it is the ultimate combination of speed, spin, adequate bounciness, good shortgame, very good counterlooping and serving and blocking too.
i can't think of anything else in a rubber that i didn't find in Hexer HD. hope it stays like that.... durability wise. i'm yet to figure..but at least it looks and feels durable.
A faster Hexer without sacrificing its spin potential. Strong opponents to T05. However it requires strong fundamental techniques to make it a dagger
I replaced Gambler Outlaw Lavender Sponge with this rubber (forehand) and Donic Acuda s1 turbo (backhand) on a stiga tube carbo blade. It is faster, spinnier, more controllable, has more gears, and is more consistent than GOL. It is medium heavy and medium hard, but not as heavy and hard as acuda s1 turbo. The entire assortment weighs 210 grams, but I like the weight, it is mostly on the backhand. It is balanced. This rubber has tons of gears and a nice sound when you lay into the ball. I will say that it is very durable since I knocked it a few times and the scuffs came off, and there was no sign of them. I like Hexer HD, it is a GREAT rubber! I could tell that HHD was amazing with the first hit I did with it.
