Andro Hexer Pips
Andro Hexer Pips combines two different geometries in one rubber! Hexer rubbers have been well received by many players all over the world. This is why we bundled all the positive Hexer characteristics to put it into Hexer Pips! The first pimple-out rubber by Andro that bases on a fourth generation Tensor sponge.
The rubber mixture of 100% natural rubber serves Hexer Pips with a high durability and long lasting stability, while the soft sponge keeps speed and control on an exquisite level.
Moreover Hexer Pips is a highlight on the pimple-out rubber segment as it combines two different geometries in one rubber! Andro calls it ECLECTIC PERFORMANCE, as the user can choose between a lengthwise and a crosswise geometry.

I tried Andro Hexer pips after trying and failing with the pips plus, which was way too fast and unmanageable for me. This rubber hits quite hard and generates good spin, but if your drawn close to the net then this rubber becomes a burden. Pushing with it is challenging, all though much better than trying to with the pips plus. In rallies I found it hard to angle and control the ball with this, and if you don't hit it in the sweet spot or roughly the middle then it'll likely bounce out every time. it feels good to smash with it but great care must be shown when doing so, personally I'm bleeding too many points from it atm so I'll be switching it out but it is a good short pimple. Manageable speed, surprising spin, control is ok, and deception is good. Quite durable as well.

I have not played with many pips, just this and 802-40 with mystery iii sponge so I can compare the two. These are spinny but somewhat less than 802-40 when brushing the ball. On driving, when the sponge is engaged, the spin is equal to 802-40. Reactive to incoming spin but much less than 802-40. Deceptive, produces sinking effect and gives opponent some trouble. Much faster than the 802-40. Overall very good, works with hard/medium hard blades.
