I am using the T05 on my FH and the T05FX on my backhand. I have come from non catapult rubbers, H3, neo, 09C, G1 and now giving the Tenergy 05s a go at 1.9mm as part of my adjust process. Lots of fear around the T05 and the FX about spin sensitivity etc and I can confidently say that I have not experienced this. Maybe it is a hangover view from older balls but I have found it very easy to use and very forgiving. This rubber is a million times easier to use then for example the 09C. I used the G1 as a stepping stone for a short period and this was a good idea for me but I would confidently tell people to just go to the T05 and even more so to the FX version. The FX is effortlessly at doing open ups on the BH and the FH (I twiddle and will get to why as I think it is the key differences between the two rubners) the FX has great control and generates excellent spin. What surprised me the most is how good it is at the short game. Having come from the H3 I was surprised at how the T05FX compared as I thought this would be a real weak point. I find it notably easier at the short game then the G1 because you can generate so much more spin on slow balls as the G1 does loose grip on slow balls. Now why do I twiddle between the normal and FX. The T05 is better at speed and spin...it hits a higher level. Where the FX which is relatively still good at speed and spin, it absolutely dominate at slow spin. You can hit a really slow ball and because it just grips the ball without the need of energy, it applies a surprisingly large amounts of spin...so I twiddle between them to change the spin to speed on the ball... particularly around serving and receiving. So if you are wondering about using a T05.... The FX is a good option as I find it plays a wider style of game and has good control. If you want all out firepower particularly from mid table and back, T05 is your option as it's ease of speed/ spin and throw angle great for this.

Great rubber, easier to play with than classic T05, still fast, better control, but a bit worse in counterlooping than T05, anyway highly recommended for advanced players with 4 years + playing experience
