Calibra LT Sound from STIGA has a soft sponge, making this rubber suitable for all types of players that like the attacking game. With the softer sponge you get more control, especially for blocks and receiving serves, but you are still able to make lethal strokes to finish your opponent. The soft sponge on the Calibra LT Sound will also give you a crisp clear sound when striking the ball. This is the closest you will get to the feeling and sound of speed glue!
With the Calibra series STIGA has created a totally new dimension to the game. We focused on creating a longer trajectory on the ball, as a long trajectory in today's game is more and more important. The combination of spin, speed and long trajectory is unique to this rubber series; you have never felt this level of play before. With the Calibra LT rubbers you will be able to perform strokes and shots never before possible. You will still have control for all the small shots and service return, but when you are attacking you will be in a totally new world. The Calibra LT series will take your game to another level.

Rubber with unique characteristics and I would say that it is uncommon, soft foam but fast and firm but with a medium low shot, good to crush and hit hard, use to the maximum in Yasaka on the start impulse + I think it is too fast, the next Once in 2.0, even if it does not produce a lot of spin and is very delicate, it will compensate the control and the excellent feeling, it will be my permanent rubber for fh, after 5 months of use I have improved the rating of this rubber, update now I think that is very good for fh does not generate much spin in services but great control in fast serves, blocking, the topspin is relentless if you hit hard generates a lot of spin, compensates the weaknesses with these special characteristics
Subjective-Worst rubber I have ever used. Objectively speaking-1.8mm on front and back. This rubber lasted maybe 2 months. Topsheet and sponge were both gone at that point. The push game was pitiful. Spin/control were fine, nothing to write home about. In 1.8mm speed was lacking. Very very reactive to spin. Blocking was very difficult with this rubber. Softest sponge I have ever seen. Overall I would not recommend ever.
Has the speed you can accelerate and the softer sponge makes the ball easier to block and control. I would compare this rubber to DONIC Baracuda Big Slam with the same amount of speed and spin. Proper technique is very important when using catapult rubber of this caliber.
My favorite soft rubber! What I like the most is that they almost sound exactly like rubbers during the speed glue era. They are very soft which gives the ball a nice catapult effect with good control and feel. They are pretty fast which makes it easy to change between backhand and forehand quickly. A spiny and good rubber on most areas.
Well done by Stiga. Great BH rubber, with much of a Haifu feel to it. If u used Donic traction soft this will feel more or less the same thus comparison with Haifu.
All else is said here about it.
Recommendation on BH side to most players but absolute beginners.
Enjoy and have fun :).
The long trajectory is amazing. Speed, spin and control are balanced. The hitting sound it creates makes you feel more aggressive in a way. Used this on my bh, max.
I've been using this in max thickness on an all+ blade for maybe six months. Throw is low, top sheet is grippy but not extremely so, sponge is pretty soft. Out of the package it's very crisp and loud and fairly fast considering the soft sponge. That lasts about two weeks and for the next four weeks it's all that but less so and that's about all I get out of a sheet, maybe 5-6 weeks. This is a good rubber that I would rate more highly if it was better at looping underspin. Against underspin it's not very predictable, some balls land on the table and others feel like they "catch" on the top sheet and go way long. So for backhand it's ok but not suitable for forehand, at least for me.
Good for mid-distance attack, loop, topspin, block and serve. Could be to soft for smashing however if timed early stroke is effective. I would recommend this rubber for a club/ advanced player for it's full potential and choose no less than 2mm sponge thickness. However overall I think the Calibra LT is better but Overall good rubber.
