STIGA Airoc utilizes STIGA's new OCS sponge technology (Oxygen Capsule System) to increase catapult effect without changing the spin ratio. This allows aggressive players to maintain the same spin/speed proportions they have always enjoyed. The key to this evolutionary advancement is the delicate balance between the size of the air pockets within the sponge and the elasticity of the top sheet. STIGA's engineers tested many different pips designs and tensions to achieve the perfect rubber for the attacking player. Poly Ball Optimized!
Airoc M is the Medium sponge version. Airoc M increases the catapult effect without changing the spin ratio.

I bought this Stiga with a sponge thickness of 2.3 mm. This rubber lay sealed for a long time and was not used. I was afraid of the large weight of the rubber. Now I installed this Stiga Airoc on a light Yinhe 970XX C base. I liked this rubber more than Stiga DNA, Airoc has much more spin and more speed and better ball control. Probably because of the excellent tensor sponge with a very thick 2.3 mm sponge and a fast Yinhe base.
The STIGA AIROC M is a good rubber...I've been using it from a month now.... I use it as a backhand rubber on the ply TIBHAR STRATUS POWER WOOD. The rubber gives a good spin and has good control. But the speed has disappointed me! So it is a major problem! I recommend this rubber for forehand as it gives a LOT OF SPIN when you hit topspin. The ball doesn't slip when you hit topspin. So overall I think AIROC M is a good rubber!! I use DONIC DESTO F4 as my forehand rubber and this is a good combination with STIGA AIROC M!
