Stiga Mantra M
New Mantra M rubber from STIGA!
The new STIGA Mantra is developed with the latest Japanese rubber technology and offers the perfect balance of synthetic and natural rubber. This new rubber mixture creates a tension between the surface and the sponge resulting in an incredible catapult effect. Microscopic air bubbles in the sponge (Oxygen Capsule System) provide great speed with a stable and consistent hit and touch. This rubber is perfect for players who require the highest in rubber quality and performance. Mantra is suitable for all types of players, with sponge variation ranging from soft to hard: Mantra S, Mantra M, and Mantra H.
Mantra M (medium sponge version)
• The medium sponge creates a high-speed rubber with great hitting power
• High speed and feeling from a mid distance
• Gives players the upper hand in spin-spin rallies
• Produces extreme spin in serves when desired.

It is good rubber for backhand, speed not ridiculously high, but gives good spin and good control, currently using it for reverse penhold backhand, close to table attacks are sharp, when at mid to far distance from table similae shots can also be made and doesn't feel powerless, lifting against backspin can also be easily done with the correct stroke, very nice japanese rubber with great catapult effect overall, too bad I heard that they are discontinuing the mantra line
Using 2.1mm on my backhand on a Stiga Carbonado 290. This rubber works well, easy to use. I previously used Tenergy 80 2.1mm on a Primorac EX, and this feels pretty similar, if not more spinny. Looping is a breeze, serves are very spinny, blocking is easy. I highly recommend.
Good BH rubber. Average offensive rubber with no X Factor but it does the job well 98% of the time. Between the MXS and MXP style of play. If you like those rubber shut want more control and less speed than the MXP but more than the MX-s get this.
Used on a Stiga Carbonado 290 on the backhand. My previous blade and rubber was the Primorac EX and Tenergy 80, so this will be compared to that. Ideally I'd have used the Tenergy but that is about 2.5 years old so in the future I will update this review if/when I replace this rubber. The main reason why I did not purchase another Tenergy rubber was because of price and because I recently started playing table tennis again. I figured this to be the best alternative for me so I gave it a try. Service is very good and I can generate a varied amount of spin. This rubber also does well in the short game, as it has a lot of feeling and control. Backhand loops were also high quality, even though my technique is unpolished. I did not work on many flicks during my practice with it. Compared to the Tenergy 80, I do not think it is as fast, even if the Tenergy were on the same blade. I'd purchase this rubber again, however, as I am enjoying the results it gives. oh em gee dis rubb so gud i lik it and use it all tim
