On stiga clipper I found it controlled over not being tamed.. On timo boll alc no control at all .. On wizard ..controled also and on petr korbel..
As far as I remembered those were my worst table tennis equipment journey.. I had the money and the resources but not the skill... So TENERGY 05 is not for me.. Cant read spin at all.. Cant done right strokes ... T05 was a mess
Now 2023 Im using viscaria ALC my fh rubber is 729 PROV BATTLE 2 39 degrees.. My forehand is way way way better than before (2018).. Now Im an intermediate level player... My forehand is really to TACKY HARD RUBBER.. I already tried different tensor rubber but it was not for me.. Only chinese rubber on forehand satisfied me .. And my eagerness to do consistent strokes was because of chinese rubber.. Before dhs neo 3 commercial then prov and now battle prov... Now on backhand Im usi tornado v5 very cheap rubber.. And planning to go back to t05 but now i will put it on Backhand side.. Then try it on forehand .. I will assess my self how far I become.. And ost of my club mates.. Suggest t05 for consistent backhand play.. But reactor is fine with me.. Very controlled and even chiquita was easy to execute.. Ill update this review after I got my t05 and played for a while
For the rest this rubber excels at everything and I can see why this is popular by many players. I read that tenergy 05 hard was better suited for my playstyle so i switched to that.
On topic though the tenergy 05 has a real catapult springy effect as described which give a higher throw angle. Be ready to close your blade a bit more while blocking and chopping dead balls/floaters requires a lil adjustment or else they will fly to high. Topspins are real fun and the speed they get surprises opponents. Lifting heavy backspins was also easy. Serving and receiving is ok. Price is to high like almost all butterfly rubbers but Im the quality is definitely there. Intermediate and beginners stay away from this one, get used to other fast rubbers first
