Butterfly Dignics 09C vs Butterfly Tenergy 05

TENERGY: Excellent for Imparting Spin on the Ball

TENERGY 05 has a unique feeling using a combination of Spring Sponge technology, High Tension rubber and a tacky surface. It is excellent for imparting a great deal of spin on the ball. 05 in the name was adopted from Pimples Code No. 5. Tenergy 05 enables a full range of topspin play at or away from the table. It keeps its explosive power throughout the life of the rubber without the use of speed glue or boosting. Tenergy 05 is very popular among world-class table tennis players. European Champion Timo Boll uses Tenergy 05 on forehand and backhand.

• Please use Free Chack II when you apply Tenergy to a blade.
• Tenergy is a highly delicate product. We recommend you protect the rubber surface with rubber protective film after a match or practice.

Reviews of Butterfly Tenergy 05 (237)

It is an easy to play with rubber. It has a high throw angle, is quite precisely, good speed and spin and not too hard. For me it felt quite similar to bluefire M1. Unfortunately, I felt like it does not excel at anything, but is more like an allrounder.

Perfect. I am Top 1 in my Country and I play it. Not for beginners because they are too bad to use such an expensive rubber. For Beginers, I would say to use a Butterfly Sriver and for medium players a bluefire m3 or m2

Tested black 2.1 mm on Viscaria blade (2022) on the backhand. T05 is great it has speed, spin, and decent control for the backhand. You must have a very good technique to use it properly, it is not very forgiving Rozena but it's more rewarding when you can handle it. I've tried a lot of rubbers similar to T05 and Gewo Nexxus EL PRO 50 seems to be closest to it but no other rubber has that feeling of catapult like T05, not even Gewo.

Perhaps excellent rubber for pros, but definitely not for beginners or amateur players. T05 requires advanced skills and doesn't forgive any mistakes. Complicated for control and studying basic tt technique

Totally a rocket. Incredible spin and speed. It's tricky to get used to the rubber's characteristics but when you do, you can attack every ball you can imagine. I found this rubber pretty easy to control and loop-counterloop balls from when you are medium-far away the table. Mid distance killer alright! Not very suitable for flat hits but you can manage. I recommend this rubber for topspin loopers who likes to move a bit further from the table. Rubber needs proper technique and some experience.
