Butterfly Dignics 05 Detailed Review

DIGNICS guides your play to a more advanced level.

The essence is the combination of Spring Sponge X, the advanced version of Spring Sponge which has more elasticity; the uniquely composed top sheet, with strengthened abrasion, proves great resistance on the surface, providing the feeling of holding the ball at impact.

Adopting pimples code No. 05 recognized for its high spin performance, DIGNICS 05 is recommended for the player who seeks to generate a high level attacking play imparting powerful topspin, as well as counter topspin play - both close to the table and at mid-distance.

Reviews of Butterfly Dignics 05 (63)

So here's my honest review of 2 months- i use viscaria alc So basically spin and speed are definitely higher then tenergy you have literally tons of control and when i say tons i mean tons ! Which was basically missing in tenergy series. You can generate tremendous amounts of spin with right technique and power the receiving game is also good i mean i can literally push a short push while thinking absolutely next to nothing top to top rallies are smooth open ups are almost automatic you just need to think about it and counter attacks are so damn easy i never knew how to do counter topspin before this rubber another key factor i like about dignics 05 is its grip i mean wow i have never seen a rubber with this much grip i mean if im not in the right position to take the ball it still goes with quality the rubber is 10/10 but nothing is perfect but this shit is near to perfect if you like springy rubber but got issues with control dignics 05 is the best middle ground probably the best rubber on the market or in dignics line (depends on playing style it suited me perfectly) but here's the con nothing comes without a price and here we and i had pay was power ! I mean this rubber is sooo demanding you need to put great efforts to get the best of it otherwise it will feel like a dead commercial hurricane! Very low speed and spin the moment you put the power to kick in the sponge you will feel why dignics line was introduced i still my initial days with dignics 05 i was hitting everything into the net i had to open my racket angle a bit more coz im a formal T05 user and i had to change my motion to more forward instead of a bit upwards and its tricky in flat hits adaptation requires.,need to change few things to settle down but during that phase i thought i should have bought tenergy my Money is wasted im not powerful enough to utilise this rubber this is for pros bla bla bla but after that phase everything feels soo natural and smooth at some point you will feel like damn im missing almost nothing ! Peoples are scared by my spin and speed another thing I'll mention here is its durability i mean wowwwwwwwwwwwwww !! What great durable rubber i can still smell that typical butterfly sponge odour and its been almost 2 months !!!! And it still shines like hell and yesterday i played a tournament and i noticed i was more accurate with dignics then tenergy because sometimes tenergy can be a bit tricky in pressurized situations but with dignics i was feeling soooo damn fucking confident and i came 2nd. Coz it helped me a lot in my receiving game which i am bad at. Overall ill say its the bestest tensor rubber on the market rn just need to adapt it and you have to have a good technique and specially power you really need to brush the ball properly only after that you can utilise this rubber but trust me once you master this I don't think you will ever need anything i have played with hundreds of rubbers and after t05 if i have liked a rubber so it is this but remember great efforts needed but those efforts worth it if you are getting direct winners!

I find it to be less spin sensitive than D80. Not as hard to use as most suggest. I’m roughly USATT 1200. I have it on the Apolonia ZLC on both sides. I was using 09C on my fh, but switched and couldn’t be happier. Who needs braking effect on their dominant side? With medium effort I get more quality than 09C with high effort. The lower throw on the loop drive is better too. Also, I find serving just the opposite. I find the distance control of D05 much better than 09C. Not to mention it’s 4g lighter.

I have used D05 2.1mm on my bh for 2 months, on an Ovtcharov Innerforce ALC, so I will review strictly for the bh side. This is the first time where I've felt that it is too much for my level. On bh I've used so far Rakza7soft, RakzaX, Fast-arc G1, J&H Z52.5 and now I have recently changed to T19. D05 rubber has unlimited power but it is very hard to maximize it's potential. The speed is somewhat subjective because of its linearity. Its base speed is lower than a Tenergy, Hammond Z2 or J&H Z52.2 for example, but it can reach higher speeds with enough power and excellent technique. The grip is impeccable. There is zero slippage of the ball and the amount of spin that you can generate is comparable to a hybrid rubber. It is the grippiest non sticky rubber that I have ever tried. The trajectory is long and direct with a medium, even medium-low arc. The combination of speed, spin and power is unmatched. However, all of this comes at a cost(and I am not talking about the price). It is very demanding and unforgiving. Because of it's extreme grip you need to be very aware of the angle of your bat on every type of shot and very precise, otherwise you will make a lot of unforced errors. If you perform a loop with an open bat the ball will literally fly up and way, way over the table. If you don't put enough power or don't have good acceleration the ball will go straight into the net because the topsheet and the rubber are very hard to engage. In my opinion this rubber is for elite and pro offensive players with a strong bh. If you have perfect timing and technique, then this is the rubber for you. I will not downgrade it due to my lack of skill, but I will give it an 8 for control since I've tried other hard rubbers that felt more forgiving and easier to play with. Hopefully, I will reach the level where I will feel comfortable using it on my bh.

I use it now on both sides for a long time.

bought this for the hype that some top pros are using it for their BH, so I'm using it on my BH and like it. Thought it would break/crack easily if bumped on the table, but it is durable enough where I feel I can make it last a long time and get my money out of it. Bought a couple more for future use as it's now my permanent BH rubber.
