Yasaka, uses mainly natural rubber for the top sheet. This improves the level of grip and the power of spin drastically. The top sheet is combined with the new Power Sponge. The top sheet and Power Sponge work in perfect synergy, producing the Hybrid Energy rubber Rakza 7. When the player hits the ball hard, the rubber grips the ball and the stroke can be used to place the ball accurately, both in direction and length. The serve and short returns are very sharp and easy to handle. Due to the increased percentage of natural gum the durability is improved. A winning combination!

Reviews of Yasaka Rakza 7 (157)

Using with Yasaka Sweden Extra on both wings. Really strong close to table, need to put in a bit of extra effort to get good speed from mid-distance, but I think this is more to do with the YSE than that Rakza 7. On a faster/bouncier blade you probably won't have any trouble getting enough power from mid distance (something comfortably in OFF- to OFF range).

Good for both brushing and driving through the ball because it has a very predictable response. Active blocking and countering feel nice and predictable, easy to place where you want. Using it with ALL+ 5ply has helped me improve significantly in all aspects of my game, because the rubber responds well to a lot of different styles of play. Has great touch on serves, receives, pushes and flicks.

Compared to previous rubbers I've tried (R47, C48, Mark V HPS) the Rakza 7 hits the right combination of speed, spin and overall touch. Definitely wish I'd tried it sooner, and will probably be my rubber of choice on both wings for a while yet.

All time classic rubber. Of cours it's not in trends regarding to professional players, but for usual player it's fantastic

The most balanced rubber I played with. Very comfortable even for a beginner, has the spin and speed potential even on higher intermediate levels. It can do everything and is very consistent and allows you to develop good technique. Rewards good skill and doesn't punish too much if you make a small mistake. Amazing rubber.

Very controllable low throw rubber. It feels like 45-46 degree hardness rubber. Dwell time is excellent. Despite the grippy surface, the spin level aren't the best nor the worst. But it's super forgiving. Only recommended those who likes rubbers with low throw angle
