Medium fast, good control. I pair it with Rhyzm-P (FH) and Rhyzm Tech (BH). Good for looping at 1-2 m from the table. Comparable with Nittaku Latika and Tibhar Stratus Power Wood which are slightly more expensive.

Good feeling and good at everything. Probably the most comfortable anatomic handle I ever used. don't like the head size. it's smaller then normal. I like to try different rubbers and anything I put on this blade wont fit on other blades. gotta use a control rubber for backhand. Couldn't control my tenergy 80 on this blade. Certainly good from beginner to intermediate.

A good blade indeed! very spinny, not so fast, more like an off- than off, best in combination with offensive rubber/defensive rubber!

its a well made blade, you can do all with this blade!!! best for begginer-intermediate player who want to improve skills and i guess for pros to depend of the rubbers! but its a very good blade in all points of view.

Clipper-like a bit thinner (I have measured mine and it's 6.6mm thick), a bit slower than a traditionnal Stiga Clipper from what I've read. To me, it's right between OFF- and OFF. Very good feeling / feedback. Just what you can wait from a Clipper-like : really good at looping (both spinny and power loops), stable for blocking and punching, and offers a very good control in short game.

I'd say the throw angle is medium-high, higher than my HRT Clipper, but lower than my Zetro Quad or my 2 Waldner Senso. On looping, you can feel a bit of flex that helps for spinny play (loops are very spinny, I'm always surprised myself). This bit of flex helps away from the table as well. Away from the table, I found the blade really suited to my game, it's not crazy fast so you can really control the game, and depending on your rubbers, counter attack really hard (but you need to put your body in the stroke, this is not an OFF+ composite blade).

For blocking and punching, it behaves like a typical 7 plys blade, stable, linear, reliable. Really helps me to be confident in this area of my game.

All in all, this blade has nothing "extraordinary" in it, it's not a revolution for me, but it is a well-balanced and versatile blade, good for close-to-table loops (both spinny loops / power loop), reliable in short game and blocks, not crazy fast so that you don't have to hold back your strokes, still fast enough for a typical offensive player. I really can't find any flaw to this blade, this will be my blade for the year to come, and I look forward to playing more with it !

Very good blade. I've played 2 years with it. Powerful but controllable and capable blade. You can play allround or offensive game with it depending of rubbers. I used soft rubbers giving a tremendous control. I wished to had a bigger head. It's a bit small for me. Finally I get a carbon blade with a bigger sweet spot and I sold the Viva. I hope don't regret later but I'm in love with my Viscarias right now. And the handle - it's one of the most comfortable flared handles I've ever used. This was the reason I bought the blade a long time ago.

Well balanced, good control but still plays fast. Playing this with the JOOLA Rhyzm 425 and the JOOLA Rhyzm 375 - great ALL/OFF paddle combo.

A bit pricey for just an all wood blade but the quality is definitely there. Plenty of power for mid to long distance looping, European style play. Good touch around the table too, despite being on heavy side.

My blade weighs 94g. Excellent playing characteristics. Great control, feel and more than enough speed. I am shocked. Is it possible? I've paid bucks for other over-advertised expensive products and accidentally come across this little shining diamond.

The have Joola Viva with Mark V M2 on both sides. Forehand has become amazing. Top spin are like never before with so much control. But the backhand is too fast. i can barely control my backhand now. I may put a slower rubber to compensate. but I cannot change the blade as the forehand has become so much better...!
Very good blade to play fast game, with lots of top spins.

This blade is the Stiga Clipper. I examined the plies. Same plies. Samba is the same wood as Ayous. So Joola calls the core plies Samba and that is another name for what many companies call Ayous. The feeling of the blade is the same as the Clipper, speed, control, weight. The only difference is the color of the handle and that one says Joola and the other says Stiga. Great blade though. And the price of the Clipper and the Viva are the same. So, to me it makes not difference.

IMHO one of the best quality to price ratios in the Joola lineup. Speedy blade with lots of control. Excellent for both controlled and power loopers. The Fl handle is very comfortable. On the other hand the ST version feels a little head-heavy for some reason and makes for some excellent smashes.

I play it with Joola Express One/Express Two rubbers now (Mambos also used to work great on it (-: .... )

The viva is perfect for a close table attacker/mid distance player. Even though it has great speed, the blade has a decent amount of control.

This blade goes well, with Express1 on both sides, or Express1 on the forehand and Express 2 on the backhand for added control on the backhand.

A harder feeling blade that still offers a soft touch due to it's outer Limba plys. It's a great blend of speed, touch, and control.
