Reviews of Andro TP_Ligna CI OFF (2)

A very nice blade comissioned by andro and produced by SoulSpin with multiple unique features:
1. Ficht(Spruce) top ply: has a mesmerising soft and minor springy feel. Much more delicate and controllable than hinoki.
2. 3D hardwood handle: the handle is made of single piece of hardwood with a unique curvature without any stomps. It feels ergonomic and natural in the hand and you'll get used to it very fast.
3. Out of factory shoulder grind: no more sharp edges touching your palm.

This is a inner construction blade that provides the speed of outer blades, but has the catapult effect and softness of inner constructions. It's a loop machine with incredible spin and controll. The center of mass is nicely in the middle facilitating switching between FH and BH.

My setup:
Dry weight: 85.0g
FH: Buttery Tenergy 05 Hard
BH: Butterfly Dignics 05
Full weight: 180.2g

After a year play using an allwood blade, i decided to try carbon blade. and i chose this blade.
The first impression of using this bat is that it feels like an allwood blade and i really like it. This blade is not stiff even though there are layers of carbon inside it. I still get some dwell time. so I can generate spin on my shots easily. This blade also has high control. I can place the ball more precision.
My blade has FL handle. I feel the handle is too small in my hand and slippery too. So I added a rubber grip to the handle.
I put Nittaku Sieger PK50 2.0 mm on FH side and Andro Rasanter R48 1.7 mm on BH. i can loop, smash, block and chop from moderate distance. My shots is more sharp and deeper.
I think this blade is very good blade. The minus point is the price is quite high.
