Spin is the most important element of modern table tennis. Not only the strength of spin but also the stability and secure feel have been desired by many players. VEGA series is the realization of the dream. VEGA is the mixture of two new technologies - HYPER ELASTO and CARBO SPONGE. Both of them are based on TENSOR technology which gives rubber the effect of built-in tension. HYPER ELASTO provides extreme spin and stability, and black colored CARBO SPONGE provides innovative efficiency of energy. Further, the feel of VEGA is exciting but comfortable. Its ease of use will help players play “winning” table tennis. Now four variations are available. All of them provide exceptional spin capability. VEGA PRO is for extreme spin, softer VEGA ASIA is for more speed, VEGA EUROPE is softer with more control, and finally, the softest VEGA ELITE is for extreme control.

This rubber really has a good price to performance ratio. With the slightly harder and different sponge the Europe does not have the main issue of the Elite, that it has to much catapult even when using a small amount of force. Chop block and top spin loop work fine, but nothing great. I really like flicking (banana) with this rubber. Elite was to soft and mushy, but the Europe provides the perfect amount of sponge resistance. Does not bottom out on backhand for me but probably would on forehand. Can recommend for beginner to intermediate on backhand. I am currently using it in 1.8 and it has enough power due to my strong wrist flick but if you want a bit more speed in general or are more the slow looper I would choose 2.0mm sponge thickness.

After trying out many rubbers, this is my favourite and go to Bh rubber. Used it on Neottec Voodoo classic.
Feel, spin and control is excellent. Speed is not the main strength but good enough. I can generate speed on my own with more swing as it gives me more confidence. Chop, flicks, blocks are really good. Shots land more on the table with this. Would recommend highly to intermediate players who want to improve consistency in their game.

This rubber can significantly enhance the characteristics of any blade you pair it with. I initially used it with a very fast blade (7-ply wood with 2 carbon layers), and blocking was extremely challenginglikely due to my skill level. The rubber is so soft that it bottoms out easily, allowing the ball to hit the wood with minimal effort. I didnt enjoy this combination at all.
However, after switching to a FLEXTRA (all-wood blade), the pairing worked beautifully. The control was excellent, active blocking became very manageable, and I could easily execute a wide variety of shots. This setup quickly became my favorite for the backhand.
I also tested it on the forehand, but it felt like it lacked the extra gears you'd get with slightly harder rubbers.
Overall, this rubber is a fantastic choice for backhand players who value control and versatility, but forehand players might prefer something with a bit more hardness for added power.

I purchased this rubber for both my backhand and forehand, pairing it with a 9-ply carbon blade (Loki V9). This has been an impressive upgrade from my previous hard Chinese rubbers (Reactor V5).
One thing to note is that you won't be able to play passively near the net due to the high catapult effect. However, once you adapt and adopt a more aggressive style, this rubber becomes a formidable weapon. For those who think it’s slow for the forehand, this might be influenced by the blade you're using. With my 9-ply blade, I can easily hit winners and generate significant speed.
While looping isn’t as effective compared to other tackier rubbers, it performs adequately. The control is exceptional, thanks to the longer dwell time this rubber provides.

I am over 40 years old and was looking for a rubber that would offer a good balance of speed and spin, along with excellent control, to help me improve my technique and eventually transition to a harder, faster rubber in the future. The Xiom Vega Europe was perfect for that purpose. I used a red max Xiom Vega Europe on my backhand, and it performed superbly. While it also works well on the forehand, I personally prefer a harder rubber for that side. With the Vega Europe, I could do everything I needed: serving, looping, returning, aiming, and executing top spins. The extra control allowed me to return difficult balls effectively. For beginners and intermediate players, successfully returning a challenging shot often forces the opponent to make a mistake, even if the ball is slightly high. Less skilled players tend to send high balls into the net or out of bounds. If you're a beginner or intermediate player looking to improve your techniques, this rubber is a fantastic option. it's affordable, durable, and reliable.
