Clips to table frames up to 3" thick (it opens 3-1/16"). Works with all JOOLA tables we carry (25mm surface thickness). Does not work with thicker tables like the Killerspin MyT10 series, JOOLA DX30 and some Stiga models.

Ball catcher with carbon fiber frame that attaches to table edge. Ideal for robot and service practice. With a sturdy yet flexible carbon fiber frame and impermeable net, it reliably collects balls during service, multi-ball, or robot practice and saves extra time by directing balls into a readily awaiting bucket or box below the net. Moreover, additional coverage is provided with its adjustable side netting.

• Collects balls during service, multi-ball, or robot practice
• Funnels balls into a bucket or box (not included) below the net
• Comes with side netting for increased coverage
• Quick and easy set up with ferroalloy frame and 100% polyester net
• An attractive addition to any table with its simple design/black color

Assembled dimensions are: 66" X 60" X 28"
Box dimensions are: 11.8" X 11.8" X 2.5"

Reviews Summary

✨ AI-generated summary of customer reviews.

Pros

  • The table tennis net is a practical product that saves a lot of effort by collecting solo-training balls into a bucket for easy recycling into robot or serve practice. It is compact when stored and easy to attach to the table. Its padded attachment points prevent the table surface from getting scratched.
  • The net is very useful for practicing alone or with a robot. It catches a lot of balls, preventing the user from having to pick up 100+ balls every time. It is also a good alternative to large rolling ball-catching nets, making it worth every penny.
  • The product is made of quality material, which is expected to last for a while. It is easy to set up and manageable by one person. It also speeds up training exponentially, making it a time saver. It does exactly what it is supposed to do.

Cons

  • The product has some design flaws, such as velcro attachment points on the sides of the net that can fray the net material. The welding/metalwork appears to be done in a hurry, which raises questions about the craftsmanship. It is also not suitable for multi-ball training as it is difficult for someone to get in there on the side.
  • The setup and takedown process is time-consuming, taking about 20-30 minutes. The clamp does not work on thick tables due to insufficient room. The product is also overpriced for what it offers, and the clamps that go on the table are of poor quality and could damage the table.
  • The product's instructions for setup are confusing and lack detail, which can make the initial setup difficult. The clamp can scratch the table corner paint. The net could be larger to catch stray shots and could do a better job funneling the balls into the bucket.

Works about as good as expected... wish it was larger to catch those stray shots and I wish it did a better job funneling the balls into the bucket. Otherwise it's okay... better than nothing.
