Butterfly recommends this rubber for backhand for beginners. It is light and quite grippy. Perfect control for push and block. One can certainly attack with it as well. Very capable close to the table. With an offensive blade, one can get some speed as well as spin. Works very well with celluloid balls for which it was originally designed. As expected, the quality of the sheet is flawless. So hear again, Butterfly delivers exactly what it promised!
I recommend it to anyone starting to play, on the backhand side. It will help with ball feel and the developing proper strokes - relying on proper form to deliver quality shots.

This rubber is very suitable for beginners or people who are getting their first custom bat. The rubber is very soft and the speed is slower than other Butterfly rubbers. The spin is decent with a grippy top sheet and the control is also decent.

Bought this as premade racket around MYR120. Good rubber to start with. Speed is slow, but control very good. A bit tacky and the spin was ok. Used it for few years, help you to improve a lot as u have to put effort, generate the swing. Now change to DHS H3, and flextra really a good starter before switching to H3.

I think the problem with my Flextra is the blade,a cheap 5 ply Butterfly blade once called Yuki An. Mine are 1.7 and be sure every hit of your play goes on the table. You can shot precision hits and be sure at higher thickness you'll have a rubber you can play with at every level. The only problem it's quite smooth, and if you shoot lightly against cut shots lots of balls will get in the net. But tried it and Sriver I prefer Flextra for its lightness and despite it's untacky you can generate a good spin with it even with the new balls. It's cheap and quite durable
