Reviews of Butterfly Flextra (45)

My first rubber that I glued to a racket.
I used it on the Butterfly Andrzej Grubba racket which is an ALL+ racket.

My impressions are that this is a rubber for absolute beginners, it comes in 2.0 thickness and is very light.
It does not produce enough spin, it is not fast enough, which makes the rubber very easy to use. Counter spins are very light due to the very characteristics of the rubber. Throw angle is low.

Overall, I would recommend the Butterfly Sriver instead of this rubber, because it's a better in every way for the same money.

This was my first rubber and I am not impressed at all. The rubber is not fast at all and does not have much spin. I really have to hit with all my power, so that the ball goes fast. I would not recommend this rubber, even to beginners, because you will very quickly ask for a new, better and faster rubber than this one.
Advantages is that is super cheap and available everywhere.

Butterfly recommends this rubber for backhand for beginners. It is light and quite grippy. Perfect control for push and block. One can certainly attack with it as well. Very capable close to the table. With an offensive blade, one can get some speed as well as spin. Works very well with celluloid balls for which it was originally designed. As expected, the quality of the sheet is flawless. So hear again, Butterfly delivers exactly what it promised!
I recommend it to anyone starting to play, on the backhand side. It will help with ball feel and the developing proper strokes - relying on proper form to deliver quality shots.

This rubber is very suitable for beginners or people who are getting their first custom bat. The rubber is very soft and the speed is slower than other Butterfly rubbers. The spin is decent with a grippy top sheet and the control is also decent.
