Yasaka Rakza Z

For the first time in the RAKZA series, the top sheet has stickiness by employing a new production method. The result is a surface with exceptional grip, enabling phenomenal spin. The result enables you to make strong spin with a very high arc. Serves and short returns are both precise and sharp. The RAKZA Z rubbers are made for attacking players, both close to the table and from half distance.

Reviews of Yasaka Rakza Z (60)
great spinny rubber , especially like the control over the table nice touch. Enough speed for me . I've got it on both sides
VEry gippy high trajectory and has more control than rackza 7 and an intro to hybrid rubber.
Even though its rated 50, the Rakza Z doesnt feel like a brick. Contact is firm but still comfortable. The topsheet has a light tack that really helps to grab the ball. The focus here is crystal clear: spin and control. Opening against backspin feels safe, with the ball lifting nicely and dropping heavy. In counter-topspin, the rubber grips well and keeps the ball on the table without throwing surprises. Short game stays clean and predictable since theres not much catapult messing things up. Speed-wise, its not a rocket. Definitely slower than Glayzer 09C in my experience. You put in the effort, it gives you the power back. Nothing free. Theres a catch: the sponge is a bit sensitive. If you re-glue often, youll want to handle it carefully, because it can damage easily during removal. Also, its on the heavier side.
This rubber is very good, the throw angle is extremely high, the highest I've ever seen for a rubber, even higher than the Dignics 09C. For my age and physical condition, which prevents me from bending my leg very quickly, Rakza Z is very good. It lifts under-spin balls very easily, but for some professional players this rubber may not be the best choice: the quality of the shots is generally inversely proportional to the launch angle. A medium launch angle like the K3 and the Dignics 09C can be more incisive in a high-level match. Booster not work well on rakza Z as for chinese sponge where boster improvements in speed and feeling are more important. You can like this rubber if your game is spin oriented , but today with plastic ball spin is less important than power and player trend is to prefer power shot near the table to stole more time as possibile from competitors, the era of points made with 3rd high spin ball is finished with celluloid.
Good rubber. Slow on short pushes, fast when looping. Very good spin. High throw angle.
