Victas V>15 Stiff
Victas V > 15 Stiff is marked by its great spin production while still maintaining a high level of insensitivity to incoming spin. It is overall, excellent for close to the table strokes. The rubber, while capable of high speed with its 45-degree sponge, is very well balanced and with great feeling. The rubber has a slightly softer sponge sheet than sister sponge V > 15 Extra.
The Victas German-Japanese team of designers (GJ Tec) have developed an outstanding series of professional table tennis rubber called V for maximum power and balance. The rubber sheets in this family are V > 01 (Medium Sponge), V > 01 Limber (Medium Soft Sponge) and now the latest edition the V > 01 Stiff (Medium Sponge with Tackier Top Sheet), and V > 15 Extra (Medium Hard Sponge Sheet) and V > 15 Limber (Medium Soft) Sponge Top Sheet.
The Victas V > 15 top sheet has a moderately tacky surface and a more direct pimple alignment. The result is a highly responsive rubber sheet that produces excellent spin, and speed on contact. The rubber is also very sensitive for over the table touch shots. This rubber is ideally positioned to help create the maximum spin with power.

I bought it thinking that it would be just like the 01 stiff, only with more speed. Well, I was wrong. The topsheet of v15 stiff is softer, so it produces less speed then the 01. I think soft topsheets only works with 47+ degrees sponges, when you want speedy strokes to finish the point. Going back to v01 stiff, witch is one of the best backhand rubbers that I have used.

Hi Folks, So I have used many pieces of Victas rubbers in the last few years, mainly the V01 series in all 3 sponge hardness. They were all good rubbers as the list above. Now the 01 is not on the market and V15 is the replacement and it is compatible to 01 stiff. They play very similar to Donic BlueFire JP / Gewo Hype series. The only weak point is the average durability. TSP rubbers tend to be like that. If you see them on sale, buy a piece to try, you'll like it.

Compared with V>15 Extra, which is my current BH rubber, V>15 Stiff is one degree below in every aspect of the game. It is a bit cheaper but considering what they both offer, V>15 Extra totally worth some bucks more.
