TSP Spinpips RED with max sponge is a short pips rubber with the most speed that I've tried (SpinLord Gipfelsturm, Degu, Waran 2, Dr Neubauer Killer Pro, Xiom Zava 1, Nittaku Moristo SP AX, Butterfly Impartial XS). Spin is also very good for short pips rubber. Of the ones I've tried, only Butterfly Impartial XS has more spin.
Sponge is soft and produces a unique catapult effect. The rubber is very lightweight. I forgot to weigh it before glued to the blade, but it feels like the whole racket is lighter and the center of gravity has changed a bit. It is fantastic for blocking, also it is very easy to lift the backspin. This is the only short pips with which I can in some way play away from the table. Deception is the only drawback, there is very little to none deception, depends on the type of shot.

I use this rubber on a 7-ply J-pen blade. It has lots of gears for a short pips rubber. Compared to other spinny pips like Raystorm and 802-40, this rubber is just as spinny (if not more spinny) and much faster. Hitting and blocking are basically effortless in 1.8 thickness. Looping close to the table is also pretty easy. The only stroke I could not produce reliably was a low, short push, but this is probably more my fault than the rubber's. The topsheet is "cooked" and very grippy, and it pairs well with the springy high-tension sponge. A bit pricey, but worth a try if you already enjoy the Spinpips family or similar rubbers like 802-40.
