Sanwei Accumulator J Blade
Weight: 85 grams
Plies: 5 (koto, spruce, balsa or kiri core)
This is the newest blade for beginners and intermediate level players from Sanwei. This is a thick blade wherein the core or the central ply is thickened to produce better speed and handling. This has a somewhat semi hard feel due to the koto outer ply and spruce 2nd ply but the thick medium soft core offers some flex for looping. This is ideal for beginners because the blade is light and non-head heavy. The handle is very comfortable and easy to grip. The speed of this blade is good enough and somewhere in between that of off- and off. It has the bounciness that a beginner needs to assist him to properly execute his strokes but has the control of an all+ blade not to miss his shots. The speed is more or less faster than Primorac off- but slower than that of the Petr Korbel. I tested this with Sanwei Gears and Sanwei Target Pro 90 and i have nothing but praises for this blade. Even advanced players can appreciate this blade if this is paired with German rubbers like Sigma 2 Pro or Europe which can offer a good amount of speed and power mid distance away from the table.
