Great attacking power with a fast traditionally ULTRA sticky top sheet. This rubber is one of the best aggressive push to attack on the planet. Combined with Transcend sponge this product is lively away from the table as well as close. Transcend is lighter and faster than traditional Chinese sponges. Sponge stores energy to release into the ball, while most sponges allow energy to dissipate.
Compared with Cream Transcend, this SP variant has a bit more tack and a slightly harder sponge. This is 729's version of the DHS Hurricane 3.

Reviews of RITC 729 SP Transcend (12)
An excellent rubber with very low price! My SETUP: Blade: Yinhe Pro Feeling , FH: 729 SP Transcend, BH: Mark V. This is a typical Chinese tacky rubber. If you are a player who plays active shot always with lot of control, this is the rubber for you.
SPEED: Not a fast rubber. But when you hit hard goes like rocket. Speed is linear with effort. But the plus side of slightly less speed is that the ball does not go beyond the table. It is little bit slower than H3 Neo.
SPIN: Excellent. Better than any non tacky rubber. Much spinier than MX-P or El-P but less spinier than H3 Neo. Service spin is excellent, specially for high toss serve. No problem to execute ghost serve. Push is also great, contains lot of backspin. Looping underspin is easy but not as easy as non tacky rubbers.
COUNTER DRIVE: This is the case where this rubber excels. Close to the table counter drive is just awesome. You won't miss a single drive. Hit just before the top of the bounce.
SMASH & BLOCK: Ok but not as good as non tacky rubbers.
The rubber is definitely very durable. I am playing for one and half years but still it is tacky. Just clean it regularly.
OVERALL: This is a nice rubber but the point is that you have to play actively. The moment you try a passive shot, you either miss the shot or go to back foot.
The Transcend sponge on the black sheet from ZeroPong is NOT hard -- it's medium. I was expecting a harder sponge based on some of the reviews here.
The rubber is very tacky. This, along with the not-so-hard sponge slows down the ball, even on a fast blade. So you can hit hard and generate a lot of spin with good control, but if you just want to kill the ball, there are better choices.
Serves are very spinny of course.
So if you want to play a spinny game close to the table, this is a great rubber, but for smashes, or playing far from the table, a harder sponge would be better. Maybe that's available with this top sheet somewhere on the planet!
Picked this rubber looking for the tackiest, spiniest, rubber I could find. While the topsheet is very tacky, the sponge is as advertised as I thought it was rock hard.
There's a youtube video of this rubber where someone is holding the ball indefinitely. My black rubber could not duplicate that feat.
All in all I would recommend trying the Friendship Geospin tacky instead. Same price and IMO Geospin's rubber is just as tacky with a noticeably softer sponge.
Using black 2.0 mm.
It's a good lightweight alternative to commercial Hurricane 2.
This rubber is very tacky, but not as much as a black sheet of hurricane 2. Throw feels very high for some reason with brush looping.
I prefer H2 over this rubber. Less than a month has passed and my sheet already looks very old.
Great attacking power with Ultra tacky topsheet.
Combined with Transcend sponge this product is lively away from the table as well as close. Transcend is lighter and faster than traditional Chinese sponges. Sponge stores energy to release into the ball, while most sponges allow energy to dissipate.
This is a tacky rubber on a medium-hard Transcend sponge. It's not very fast on flat hitting contact, but you can load up the spin on loops.
People have been wondering about the hardness of the sponge. The sponge is hard but, the top sheet is soft and tacky. Total rubber feels really soft when hitting, like 38 hardness. Pressing just the sponge with my finger, felt around 44 hardness. So the 2.0 sponge will feel softer than 2.2 sponge, because obviously you get more hard sponge. I prefer 2.2 sponge(more springy). Don't forget to prime the rubber, to make it more soft and lively. This rubber is meant to be used with speed glue, it's pretty slow without speed glue. If you're not using glue, use a very fast blade!(still may be too slow) The dwell time is huge even on a stiff blade. serving, looping, and pushing, are so so. Driving and counter loop drives is this rubber's specialty. If speed gluing was still legal, I would give this rubber a 9 or 10. In the new age I give it 8. Without glue, this is suitable for a beginner. Advanced players can still use this rubber, just would need to put this on a rocket blade. Again, don't forget to prime it.
Like Jeff said, best used for chinese style strokes, not good for euro strokes and long game.
This is a very good looping rubber. however it does lack a little kick in my opinion. good for close to the table. the Sponge is not too hard in my opinion which makes this rubber a little lively, so short spinny serves are not as easy to achieve. Overall the second favorite friendship rubber after focus2. I did also try the SP with ESN sponge and I think I like that one better, the ESN sponge is harder and can generate a little more power when needed.
Very tacky topsheet for service and short game. Sponge is hard but not as hard as commercial hurricane. Looping is best done with a chinese style stroke. Made for an offensive game.
I bought this rubber (2mm, red) 2 months ago. This rubber is a disaster. It is very hard, you can't feel the ball with it. Totally unpredictable. Some balls go through, some fall into the net. Looping is very difficult. I like the chinase rubbers, but this is a joke.
