Finally I bought the legendary Viscaria. My coach thinks this is THE blade that everybody can play with. I believe he has a point, I cannot fault it, it provide a stable and solid base for most rubber combinations. A great blade for 85 when bought at my partner's local Butterfly dealer in Matsuyama.

The Butterfly Viscaria blade combines the Arylate fiber features of lightness, flexibility, and shock absorption with the carbon fiber features of high elasticity and minimal dissipation of energy. The result is a wonderful combination of power and control, with a sweet spot larger than a traditional all wood blade and softer touch than a standard carbon blade.
This Butterfly table tennis blade is ideal for quick counter-looping right off the bounce, though it is still capable of producing strong shots back from the table. The superior balance of offensive and defensive performance has been proven by the fact that many top players around the world still use it and continue to deliver results.
To increase the grip on this blade, you can add Soft Grip Tape, providing grip and comfort to the racket handle. Another great choice to extend the longevity of your racket is adding side tape to the blade, protecting the wood in the event it is hit on the table.

Some Butterfly blades like Korbel and Grubba are produced in factories both in Europe and in Japan, so they exist in 2 variants. When a Japanese blade has a Europe-made version, we always carry the Japanese variant. Other blades like Butterfly Timo Boll Offensive are only made in China so we cannot carry a Japanese variant of these blades.

All Butterfly blades come pre-sealed from the factory. There is no need to add blade sealing but you may if you require additional protection.

Amazing blade! Great feel. Great control. Fairly fast, but not too much. I tried a number of different rubbers, pretty much everything works well with it. I tried Vega Pro, D05, D09c, Tenergy 05, Zyre 03, Rasanter R47, Hurricane 3 Neo, all worked very well.
