The Nittaku Fastarc C-1 rubber is "Fast" with an "Arc"! It is the ingenious creation from Nittaku combining a “tension spin” top sheet with a “soft strong sponge”. It takes the best attributes from earlier Fastarc rubbers: G-1 and S-1 and utilizes them to make the new Fastarc C-1. This combination creates an incredible grip and speed to allow players to create artistic shots.

Love this rubber. Use it on my RPB penhold backhand, really suits my short, snappy game. Blocking feels decent and played some nice banana flicks with it too. Felt like I couldn't miss so whatever it is about this rubber, really suits my game. Tried various other rubbers like Rozena, Sanwei Target National Red for backhand and they were good too but like the speed and control for me, this feels just that little bit more alive but not overly so that it can't be controlled. Rewards good technique in spades. Love this. Not gonna take it off. Recommended to try it. I use the 1.8mm version to aid with some measure of control. Didn't feel like it bottomed out or anything either.
update: After using a variety of high-performance backhand rubbers, including Tenergy 05, Tenergy 05FX, Tenergy 80, Tibhar Evolution EL-P, Fastarc G-1, and Mark V, I found the Nittaku Fastarc C-1 to be one of the most stable rubbers I have used.
The C-1 solved many of the issues I experienced with faster rubbers, such as excessive catapult, inconsistent blocking, and poor control in the short game. Its linear and predictable response allowed me to play with more confidence, improving my consistency with flicks, loops, drives, blocks, and service returns. It is an excellent intermediate offensive rubber because it provides enough speed and spin while remaining forgiving and easy to control.
However, as my technique and attacking ability developed, I found that the C-1 lacked the extra grip and bite I wanted for a more aggressive topspin-based backhand. While it gave me confidence and consistency, I now need a rubber that offers a stronger connection with the ball and greater spin engagement without losing too much control.

Weighed around 45gm after cut on standard blade. It is an upgrade to me over vega Europe, used in 2mm thickness which is max for this rubber. Pushes are very nice. Lot of control. But still good power when playing offensive shots. I used it in my backhand. Works well with stiff blades like Boll alc.
This rubber seems to pair well with my Butterfly Viscara blade. Finally I found something powerful and not too costly: the younger brother of Tenergy 05. The thickest rubber I could get is 2.0 mm and I could feel a bit hard on the drive. But the feel of a power forehand drive was easy with this rubber if I was able to get the proper form to execute it. If not careful I tend to net if I do not raise my arm enough. The backhand is also very powerful but sometimes I am not in a spot to lift it up. This rubber is quite light, good coupling with my Viscara to create good arcs across the table. Anyway I am happy to discover something other than Joola that works better for me.
