UPDATED ! The sponge hardness is 52.5 degree. According to the shop "Spin and Speed" (the only source that provides such specifications!), the overall hardness is 55.5 degrees! In its original packaging, my black version with a 2 mm sponge weighs 109.6 grams. (- in the store, the red versions weighed three to five grams less!) Uncut by 170 x 170 mm, it weighs 71.3 g. Since I have only pre-cut the rubber, I cannot yet state the final weight. I tested, or rather, compared, this rubber (against a K3 of the same thickness, overall Hardness 54,9 degrees) on my "Lemuria SALC" (a Butterfly clone), which is the blade I normally use with a K3 in "max" thickness. - incidentally, the K3 really felt somewhat softer and more elastic. ( ... I attached both rubbers using solvent-based glue!) During the first test session, I played against an opponent who uses long pips on his backhand. After a short while, he concluded that this rubber is truly forgiving of errors and I had to agree with him! I was also completely satisfied during the subsequent matches. For the record, Im not a fan of short serves or the short game, but with this rubber, even I can handle them! ;-P Im also able to return short serveswhich Im usually too slow to reachwithout any trouble, and I can even add some nasty spin to my returns. Incoming spin? No problem at all! ;P In open-rally play, however, I do find it a bit lacking in elasticityI wonder if the 2mm sponge is thin enough that Im actually feeling the blade underneath??? In any case, after the XIOM J. & H. C 55.0, the Trinity generates more spin than any other rubber Ive played with so far!!!!
Verdict: My current number one, the K3 (in max thickness, ), feels "more elastic" and more comfortable during open rallies, but it clearly doesnt have the same potential. Perhaps Ill treat the "Hugo" ;-P to a layer of Haifu Seamon Yellow Booster, or simply pick up the next one in max thickness!!!

I just tried this rubber curious. Instant friendship. Works for me perfect on forehand (style: amateur attack and allround, topspin and blocking, trying to survive against younger and better players). Remembers me to old times, 38mm ball and fresh gluing. Soft feeling. Exceptional control. Very fast with topspins but easy to control in soft play and blocking. Just check it out with sale on joolas Website. Great rubber. Comes with factory boost inside. Seems for me to work at least about to months. I will try to reboot it myself later on. My setup: Stiga Cybershape Carbon, Truls Edition, CWT, Nexy Etika 51 on backhand.
