if you ask me, carbon blades are pure "need for speed". so, if your style is speed and you are a competitive player, carbon might be the right choice. however, using of slower versions of carbon (all+ or off- carbon blades) doesn't make much sense to me-good allwood blades are simply better in the same speed category... i guess even some professionals still appreciate touch of pure wood and would not sacrifice it for the speed of carbon. if they don't, why would amateur/recreational player do so? if you look for all+/off- setup, i reckon you don't have the need for carbon |
