I used the racket for two years before upgrading to a custom bat, and it was fantastic. Great feel and it helped me develop my game so that a transition to a faster blade was easy to make. I highly recommend this to anyone looking. For the first month or two, the handle wood did have a somewhat unpleasant smell, though.
I liked this racket when I first got it, but then everything went wrong. The blade is fine, there is nothing wrong with that, its the rubber thats the problem. When I played with this racket, it felt fine at first, but after about a week of play, the spin and power deteriorated greatly. By the time I decided to buy a new racket, I was using table tennis rubber cleaner on it once a day. I do not recommend this racket to anyone unless you have someone coming with you who needs to borrow it.
My only reason for not rating this higher is that I have yet to try something higher end than this. Having said that, this racket feels great. The spins are very good, and the balls sound very good coming off the racket, meaning the wood is well constructed and compressed. Its not too fast, so it allows the intermediate player to work on developing loop shots without the fear of hitting a homerun. Its light and feels good in your hand. My only tip is to keep it dust free because it takes a huge toll on your spin action. A moist sponge will do the trick.
