The Explosive NEO series is here!

The new NEO Hurricane Rubbers have been produced for, and tested by, the Chinese National team to counteract the Speed Glue ban. The new NEO sponge has been developed to give the traditional sticky DHS rubbers the extra rebound but without losing the much loved spin and control. The advantage to new NEO Hurricane 3 is matched with the powerful NEO Sponge and now features stronger spin and added speed for fast topspin players. Comes in an air tight pack for ultimate freshness!

Hardness: Mid

If you've watched competitive table tennis at the highest levels, then you've surely seen DHS products in action. Perhaps the most notable athlete using DHS equipment is Ma Long. A legend of the sport, Ma Long uses a Hurricane 3 rubber on his forehand. Hurricane 3 rubbers are undoubtedly the most popular rubber series from DHS and are a prime example of hard and tacky Chinese rubbers. Many players try out the Hurricane 3 and H3 Neo rubbers on their forehand as an introduction to this style of rubber. These rubbers require considerable power to fully unleash their potential, as well as proper brushing technique. You can find the H3 rubbers in Commercial (NEO), Provincial (H3, NEO) and National (H3) versions.

DHS offers rubbers with different characteristics well-suited to other uses as well. The Gold Arc 8 series is a high-powered rubber that performs more closely to other brand's flagship offerings. It has a grippy surface and fast sponge, which comes in both 47.5 and 50 degree hardness. You can find Skyline and TinArc rubbers rated as Soft, Mid-Soft and Mid-Hard.

Reviews of DHS Hurricane 3 Neo (217)

Hard rubber, use it if u have strong arms. Using H3 neo + alc blade very difficullt to place ball in deep corners.
Spin good, speed low. Boosting required

After trying three 39 degrees, 2.15mm H3Ns on four different blades, I feel this is not for me. The tackiness wears down quickly and the factory-tuned sponge hardened after two weeks. I tried boosting them but it only brings back part of its original performance. It is good for training since it is relatively inexpensive. Close to the table plays are good.

Normaly, I didn't want to write reviews for this rubber. The disappointment I experienced after testing this rubber myself was very big! I'll never understand why DHS sticky rubbers supposedly produce more spin than non-sticky rubbers. - I have never experienced it before and I firmly assume that this can only be the case with the use of tuners!
(- but then I bought a Stuor blade called "Nobilis ZLC Hinoki", a clone of Joolas Nobilis Pob-c !!!!)
Facts: rubber with 37 degree sponge and 2.15 mm thickness. Weighed, orig. packed (shrink-wrapped!) 76 g., uncut inclusiv film 60 g. and without 56 g. - 44 g. on my blade (156 x 150 mm).
... bought at Ali Express for 14 !!!
One year ago, on various others blades:
His low speed and less catapult initially shocked me. The spin development is also only mediocre (- I hope, I got no FAKE!) - however, the throw angle is pleasantly high !
Ive tested this rubber on different OFF+ blades (ZLC, SLC and CNF) and I felt, that the rubber is very overrated.
Conclusion: If this rubber had more speed and catapult, I would recommend it for the forehand, but for me it is at most a backhand rubber.
Im sure, if you use booster, you will be too lucky with him at your FH !!!!
- only alternate: you buy a "Stuor Nobilis ZLC Hinoki" blade and use the rubber on your backhand side !!!!! - you will be surprised. ... than spin plus 0,4 points!

I am using this rubber on Bh in 39 degrees. Its very tacky with a nice arc. The control is amazing when blocking and attacking but requires more effort than European rubbers. Its a good rubber for strong players. It starts slow but once you get used to it, it gets faster.

The perfect rubber for my chinese backhand for spin rotations attack.
But for my play , i need tune it. Once tuned, block, service, play short, spin, speed...perfect.
For forehand i prefer 39 or 40 of hardness.
For backhand 38-37. If you have more hardness, use more oil.
Remmember red sheet (backhand) and back(forehand).
