DHS Hurricane Long Series

The Hurricane Long series is the blade line built around Ma Long, the most decorated player in the history of the game. Its centrepiece, the Hurricane Long 5, pairs five plies of selected wood with two inner layers of arylate-carbon next to the core (DHS Pith-Film technology): soft and controlled on touch shots, with the carbon waking up on full strokes for penetrating power. It is the blade Ma Long chose for the plastic ball and the reference for modern Chinese inner-carbon blades.

The collection covers the whole family: the Hurricane Long 5 in shakehand and Chinese penhold, the thicker-core Long 5X and Long 5 Golden for more power, the Long 5 Light with a smaller head and thinner handle for high-level juniors, the Long 5H with a denser inner fiber for extra rigidity, the commemorative Golden Grand Slam edition, the national-team W968 and its Golden and 6-Gold commemorative editions, and the 7-ply all-wood Hurricane Long 3 that Ma Long used before the carbon era.
