| I think the point alfie is making though is that he likes hitting it hard/fast. There is no argument to that statement. Although I was arguing against the use of fast blades on the grounds of better control and technic, I usually use one myself. The advantage I get is that if forced back from the table I still have the power to upset my oppo. But you need to have very good touch over the table. The best blade I've used is the TSP 8.5 Balsa. You can backhand kill from 6 foot back and I loved using it, the trouble was you needed to be a magician over the table. I've now gone down to the 6.5 which gives me a lot more control. |
