| I know what your trying to achieve, but I would still argue that better tactics and better technic are of more benefit than a faster bat. If your struggling against good blockers then pure speed isn't the answer. Although It depends at what standard you are playing. As you get better and start playing against better opposition what you have achieved by speeding up your shots won't be as big an advantage. Very good blocker love speed, the faster it goes the faster it comes back. I'm a blocker so understand this very well. When I was using short pimples the faster and spinnier the shot the easier it was to return with interest. The players I find the hardest are the ones who vary the spin and speed and who have good placement, and who out manoeuvre me. |
