Tacky rubbers will not be banned, they were approved AFTER that "process", and have the ITTF stamp so they are legal out of the package, unless you "modify" them yourself. The ITTF approval is only on topsheets, we were always free to put whatever sponge we like underneath. No sponge is illegal as long as it is uniform in thickness and hardness, and the covering does not exceed 4.0 mm. This implies there is no "legal" or "approved" sponge to modify. They will have to make a more explicit statement about tuners. Also, how will this rule be enforced? Tuners will pass the ENEZ test, right?
