| Thanks for the comments. From reading other posts in this forum, I've been lead to believe that getting a "real" blade and rubber will be much faster and spinnier than a prebuilt racket. I'm a bit worried about being able to control my shots. Yes, I like to hit the ball hard, but I play a lot of backhand blocks until I get a ball to kill. Specific recommendation of a modest blade/rubber combo would be welcome. One last newby question. Do people generally put a particular color on the forehand vs backhand side? |
