Yeah, I used to use a darker center carbon which was a very fast racket. It was a crutch for me and my forehand wasn't really developing...i didn't need it too. But what I didn't know is I was blocking shots I should have been counterlooping because I was afraid of the speed of the blade. I went to all+ to off- blades and developed the power myself. Now the CC feels way too fast. I'm no better player ratings wise then I was, but sometimes you take a step backward to go two forward.

Plus if you're not playing in tournaments, you're playing guys who want to hit with you in practice. In tournaments, you'll have trouble with service return and missing shots. And you'll go home thinking you were "off" that day.
