Reviews of Yasaka Extra Offensive 7 Power - Chinese Penhold (16)
Penhold model, 90g paired with Bluestar A1 as RPB and Victas Spinpips D1 on forehand. First, this blade is FAST when hit with A1. Almost every hit is launched like a cannon. In the other hand, with Spinpips the control is amazing. Blocking with it is like training drills with your less skilled partner. Powerful topspins are blocked extremely easy, much different of Clipper or P700, for example. And being so thin, the setup is perfect to change back to fore and fore to back. Maybe I could ask for a bit more speed when smashing, but I must consider Spinpips is not the fastest SP available. Among thin Cpen blades I had (Ma Lin Carbon and Waldner Senso Carbon), YEO7 is the best in terms of control.
This blade now plays much better with 40+ balls than it used to with 40 celluloid balls. This walnut carbon blade plays well only with soft and medium rubbers with a sponge thickness of 2.2 and 2.3. I glued STIGA DNA rubbers to this blade and am very happy with the racket, now I win against those opponents who I used to lose to. The price of the blade is not expensive $ 65 - $ 75.
This blade is more fun, forgiving and spinnier to play with than the Butterfly Ovtcharov ALC and did not seem much slower. I'd say it's a screaming good deal for a high performance and fun blade. I am vedry tempted to buy this blade after trying it but I already have too many blades.
thickness 5.8mm, weight 88g, head size standard, FL grip thin but not too Chinese, beautiful dark wood, medium hardness, medium flex, medium fast, nice feel, control, low vibration, large sweet spot, consistency , wenge or walnut wood, fleece inner cabono, very good in the game, I think it is one scale down in the speed rating, it is very nice, factory sealed, good quality,With Joola Rossi emotion and DHS 301, Yeo 7 Power is one of the best performances for the price, I have tried many
