For my initial tests, I played the K3 on a Lemuria SALC (a clone of the Butterfly Viscaria Super ALC!) and a Sanwei 54 Inner Yellow ALC, both in 2 mm thickness! With both blades, I felt something was missing; after quite some time, once I had the rubber in "Max" thickness on the Lemuria SALC blade, I realized what it was!!! It was simply a bit more speed. I find this combination absolutely perfect. No other rubber has ever come out so far ahead in (almost!) every category!!! Its spin potential could perhaps be higher, but...
Facts: black rubber; original weight 108 g; uncut with film 70.6 g (net 67.6 g); on my blade 47.5 g (157 x 150 mm). Black rubber, max thickness, 49 g. (157 x 150 mm)
Conclusion: For years, you read everywhere about the rubber's supposedly poor durability (which actually refers only to the topsheet), and unfortunately, I formed the same impression. However, anyone willing to put in the effort to treat and maintain it *properly* can significantly extend its lifespan!!! Just don't use VOC-free cleaners that contain glycerin, as they soften the topsheetwhich is already very soft to begin with!!! In addition to self-adhesive protective films, I recommend using a VOC-based cleaner (...which is easy to make yourself using, for example, 70% isopropanol mixed with distilled water and a small amount of dish soap!!!). This removes sweat, skin oils, and dirt. A VOC-free cleaner basically only benefits the sellers!!! ;)
P.S.: The fact that this rubber is the absolute best thing for me now makes me sad (considering its durability!). (... this is going to be an expensive season!!! :-/)

This rubber is fantastic: fast, tacky, and effective, but its durability is extremely poor (too much). The real problem with the K3 is it's durability: the worst I've seen for a rubber. My 8-year-old son used it for two weeks in the garden with the robot, and the rubber lost its grip and traction in few days. Sure, the dust in the garden accelerated the aging, but I've never seen any rubber die soo fast. Excellent rubber , but at the end is too expensive, because needs replacing too often: only for sponsored players.
Personally, I was looking for a hybrid rubber that was actually tacky. I played with hurricane 3 neo for over a year and decided that I needed something with a little more pace to win outright points. This is a fantastic rubber, but it does not feel like a true hybrid. After one session the tackiness was almost completely gone. I have also kept my old sheet of H3n tacky like new for 6 months so doing the same cleaning and covering did not help. The spin produced is good, but not great like actual tacky rubbers. The speed however is pretty darn fast without having to put a lot of effort into it and even faster with proper weight transfer. Overall its a great rubber, just not what I was looking for.
This went in on my top 10 list after just 2 trainings 3 house each. It has a very soft feeling, dispite the 50 degrees sponge. Anything goes, with this treasure. The loops and service is extra spin. I can not in fact find nothing that doesnt is marvelous. I
I got my first sheet a few month ago and have been pleasantly surprised with this rubber.
I've been using on the forehand of an inner carbon blade. The level of control is insane.
Short touches and blocking are extraordinarily precise. Forehand drives and smashes are very consistent and the bat produces a characteristic click sound when hitting through the ball.
Looping is also excellent. The spin generated is less than my previous Razka Z but still very high, especially when serving. Countering against top spin is excellent, too: I noticed that using this bat I tend towards hitting through the ball more than I used to with my previous Razka Z.
Control and blocking are unreal. I'm enjoying it.
I'm slightly concerned about durability: I haven't noticed any major degradation in terms of performance after using it for 2 months 2 times per week. Maybe the spin has started decreasing a little, but I'm using a rubber clean/rejuvenator which I think has helped with durability a little.
The price is a bit high though, if the durability does turn out to be as bad as like other reviews say. Not sure I'll buy it again in the immediate future.
