The Tibhar Felix Lebrun Hyper Carbon Penhold blade is as extraordinary as its homonym. Developed with the experts from Tibhar according to the wishes of the young penholder player from France.

The blended fabric of layers of synthetic carbon fibers placed directly around the core veneer provides the high stiffness that a fast-attacking blade requires. This positioning, however, results in a longer and more sensitive contact with the ball, in contrast to the outer layers of fabric. This blade is perfectly adapted to players who privilege a fast and attacking game.

Reviews of Tibhar Felix Lebrun Hyper Carbon - Chinese Penhold (2)

I have the straight handle non penhold version. This blade has great control with good speed. It is very stable with a low throw/trajectory. Excellent touch & serve return. Blocking is a strength. Hitting & looping is very good and consistent. I feel like my game is more stable in all aspects. Head size is larger giving more weight towards the top of blade. I'm currently using D09C on both sides. Their are faster blades out there, but the low throw and consistency really provide more difficulty for opponent. The carbon rests on the core with a limba outer ply providing good dwell time. The "Hyper Carbon" may be a little thicker than others. I'm not sure what the other layers of wood are. If anybody knows, please share.

Hope this helps!

I own more than 100 blades and is a recreational collector of TT blade. I must say this blade is not extroordinary. It is not a bad blade though. I paired with K3 PRO forehand and Quantum backhand.
