Started playing with a semi-pro racket about a year ago after using recreational rackets till then. My first ever racket had Glayzer 09c in the FH and Tackiness Drive in the BH (wasn't the best combo for me). However, i fell in love with this rubber and switched to using it on both sides. Great rubber for early players learning how to control and spin the ball, with enough speed to get you used to a quicker paced game. Very consistent in play and will allow just about anyone to get used to using it. :))

I have been played it for more than 6 months. Paring with Butterfly Sardius is the perfect match. Forehand or backhand is really awesome. Same thing for block, the ball is always stayed on the table. Flick is also really good. It's not fast but when paring with Sardius is really suitable.

Glayzer O9C is very similar to Hurricane 3 neo, less sticky and faster. At the beginning,
the throw angle was surprisingly high after adjustment and it has lots of spin when you top spin, of course you have to have good technique like the Chinese have, then the Glayzer O9C will be deadly. In the serve you can generate a lot of spin and where this rubber shines most is on the receive. It is very easy to touch the ball short due to the stickiness and at the same time the rubber has enough power to perform forehand flicks. many people say Glayzer O9C is very slow but it is faster in I expected.
If you don't top spin that much, Glayzer O9C is not for you but if you start using Glayzer O9C and start to develop it top spin you can develop quickly but then you have to learn the Chinese technique or is very similar to the Chinese technique because out of it best Glayzee O9C.
Ps I would assume a sponge hardness of approx. 50-52 EUR. Officially, the hardness level is 42 JPN.

Not compared with a Dignics 09C (which I will never buy) this Gleyzer 09C (in 1.9)is a pretty good rubber if used on a j-pen Tamca 5000 or any similar fast blade. The combination is actually very fast. The high throw angle and the medium speed produce a good match with the blade. The extra speed resulting of the combination will force extra careful shots but, in the end, you will be compensated with good results. Very good spin and speed with controllable offense game. Services can have as much spin you put on them . Top spins and loops are effective. Slow loops are possible. Pushing and chopping at the table are good. Passive blocks are not easy (for the speed) but faster blocks are manageable. Long curvy loops are especially dangerous. In summary, depends on your abilities and style you will be able to play a spinney fast game with this combination. It's NOT a bad rubber. Like any other rubber depends ultimately on the blade and the player.
It is a rubber similar to the hurricane 3 neo in speed, control, angle, but a little softer, less sticky, lighter, with a good feel, consistent, recommended in fast blades
Have just tried it on the Lin Gaoyuan in 2,1 with D80 1,9 on the other side. One layer Kailin + one layer Falko long on both. My normal rubbers are Hurricane 3 Nat BS 40 and D05, so I got used to boostering all the new sheets. Have been playing a D09c as well for more than a year. Decided to leave a comment bcs of totally different impression comparing to most of the comments here. I don't know what are you guys complaining of, it's a really good rubber, especially for those who bothered by controlling bouncy tensors but don't have enough footwork, heaps twisting movement and legs-body-hand synchronization for using typical Chinese tacky rubbers. First of I don't think D09c is whatsoever similar to Hurricane 3 Nat, in my opinion it bears much more resemblance to Friendship Battle II Gold, particularly in terms of feeling and arc. G09c has actually higher arc than both of them, comparable with H3Nat, and it helps a lot on opening up looping. Yes, it's not that speedy but has a lot of spin and is absolutely controllable in terms of length unlike that of from D09c which tends to go long. Controllability is what allows G09c to shine at forehand countertopspinning close to the table. In this department it's much more close to H3Nat than D09c. It's a bit bouncy on the table if you just push or try to make a dead ball by tossing coming backspin up but if you make a sharp swing under that ball your long push turns into deadly counterbackspin. And finally. It's just as good as D80 on blocking, smashing and flat hitting. So, safe opening up looping, strong backspin long pushing, blocking, smashing and flat hitting. Do you recognize what kind of playing we're talking about? Yeah, it's actually a typical amateur game style. And additionally you get reliable close to the table countertopspinning. Just for growing on.
I have it since two months in 2.1mm. I tested it for both my forehand and backhand with a Ma Long Extra Offensive Blade, but it's too slow for my forehand. However for my backhand it's perfect, top spin on chop balls is verry easy, i can use a lot of force and it always go on the table. Same thing for block, it always stay on the table. It's not the fastest rubber but it feel verry secure. I recently reglued and stretch-it a little bit more and it gave me the perfect speed, a lot of control and verry low spin-sensitivity. On top spin i can really feel the rubber tackiness gripping the ball, and on flat punch the now stretched sponge give me good catapult effect.
This rubber is too slow for backhand, and not quite hard or powerful enough for forehand.
It's kind of like a softer, slower, less tacky Hurricane 3. I feel the rubber needs some booster, otherwise it is just too slow. With booster, it is fast enough on 90% of regular match shots. But on the hardest topend power shots, it can't reach the same power as harder rubbers like H3 40 or Dignics 09c.

A friend kindly made this rubber available to me to test! ( - THANKS, Chris! ;)) I compared this rubber with my Dignics 09 C for half an hour on my (stiff, fast) Stuor Nobilis ZLC Hinoki. (both in 1.9 mm) - and I think that this rubber is currently completely undervalued !!! Compared to the Dignics 09 c, the speed and rotation are lower. ... like the throw angle. Due to the lower hardness of the Glayzer, I have the impression that it has more catapult! ... which was also confirmed for me in the short game. Conclusion: this rubber is unfortunately not "the hoped-for high-flyer" and "low-budget dignics", it's more of an own development a bit removed from Dignics 09c. - but he will definitely make some friends!
I'm playing with this rubber on my forehand on Butterfly Innerforce ALC.S blade for about 3 weeks already, here is my feelings so far. ~1200TTR German rating.
- a lot of control on blocks
- hitting balls is easy (aggressive block)
- need to generate a lot of power in order to give some spin for top spins, especially for first one.
- low arc, after Donic Bluestorm Z2 I hit top of net very often (need to adjust my technique)
Rubber positioned as for amateurs and cheaper alternative of Tenergy and Dignics, but unfortunately force you to put a lot of energy and focus to make less mistakes. I believe there are better offers on the market for my level (only started to work on proper technique), with similar or cheaper price.

Slow rubber, far away from dignics 09c. You have to push hard to make a good shot, not easy at all in game. Very disapointed from butterfly who sell it for an easy rubber for intermediate players. But not sensitive to incoming spin. Maybye good for a begginer or a chopper...
yeah this is boring rubber. No big SPIN, NO fast speed, but great control. Control is perfect and you can put your dream blade with it like Super ZLC, Super ALC. Great choice for someone who needs flex with Butterfly setup- shirts, blades handband, headband, bandz in the pocket, Adrew Tate type of flex, I am more about Emory Tate's Flex, English Opening: Neo Catalan Defense Declined with castling so I will choose Tibhar MK Hybrid any day, cheaper and more spin and better feeling. So it is bad choice who wants win with spin, bad choice if you need win with anybody, but great choice if you need feel good in your small village. The rubber will be bad on Primorac, Korbel because it is slow, the rubber will be great with super zhang jike, super viscaria, lin yun yu super zlc, but if you have the bandz in your pocket and the money is not a problem, Dignics 1,9 is better choice ;)
I just got this rubber in the mail today (29/03) and started playing with it. Put the rubber on a Butterfly Innerforce ULC with a rubber thickness of 2.1 mm. My first thoughts:
- easy to control while blocking
- easy to control when receiving
- easy to control incoming spin
- higher throw angle than Im used to

I don't know how to put it with this rubber. Most of the time it works really well for me, but I can see why people don't like it. I think you'll need to pair this rubber with a faster blade (like the zlc or Tamca series from Buttefly) in order to compromise for the lack of speed. I still think the spin in this rubber is really good. Having played with a variety of rubbers on my forehand, like Rakza X, T05, D05, I can certainly say that this produces by far more spin. Many training partners often let the ball shoot out because they underestimate the spin I put on the ball with this rubber.
This rubber is a really calmed down version of the D09C, and I think it shouldn't be used when coming from a faster rubber like T05 and wanting to maintain that speed.

I'm really looking forward to this rubber. I've read that it is going to be a budget-friendly Dignics09C, which would be more than good for me, as looking for a relatively cheap Butterfly rubber that has high spin and high control.
